Cosy up, unwind or explore the broader Hunter Valley. The self contained cottage (converted servants quarters), is your own little oasis within the broader grounds of Berry House. Claret Ash Cottage is a beautiful 1890's mining cottage nestled in the hamlet of Elderslie, Hunter Valley. The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and suits those wanting to wind down by the fire pit in winter or on the back deck watching the sunset in summer - whilst enjoying the bounty of the Wine Country region. A picturesque 25 minute drive will have you in the heart of the wineries during the day - then back to Claret Ash Cottage by night to wine, dine and admire the view.

Our cottage is a 2 bedroom, unique cottage, sitting atop a hill of 100 undulating acres and boasting views once enjoyed by the old observatory that stands beside it. The cottage is a 30-35 minute drive to the gorgeous Forster/Tuncurry so whilst enjoying the serenity of a rural property you also have pristine beaches so close - best of both worlds !! 10 mins to the quaint village of Nabiac, vintage shops, homewares, cafe, pub, pool, tennis court and wineries close by.
