Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

The coastal path runs right outside, with a short distance to beaches, walks and beautiful nature. Just 2 km from Nordhasselvika, named one of Europe's most beautiful hidden beaches by The Guardian. Cozy apartment in Rasvåg on Hidra, which is located right on the beach and has a jetty with swimming and fishing opportunities just outside the door. With southern idyll and great nature on all sides, it is a perfect place for relaxation and excursions. Fenced garden towards the lake and road, so small children can play freely. Hidra has a lot to offer in terms of attractions, fishing and nature experiences, but is also the starting point for trips to Brufjell, Flekkefjord city, Kjeragbolten, Prekestolen and many other exciting places.

It is a large, modern house that is handicap and family friendly. The house has 3 living rooms, 4 bedrooms + 2 sofa beds, 3 bathrooms, 2 TV rooms/playrooms and several terraces with fantastic views of the sea and the beach, which is right below the house, only a 2-minute walk away. You'll also have access to a laundry room and a fully equipped gym.

Recharge your batteries with luxury at this unique and quiet accommodation. Beautiful romantic little cottage with views that give peace of mind. Large terrace/jetty with outdoor furniture, gas grill and wood-fired hot tub! (IMPORTANT! The hot tub does NOT have bubbles or massage, just lovely hot water).
