We are a family that love living here and have a self contained space connected to our house, with separate access, FREE PRIVATE driveway parking, private garden, patio, BBQ all for you to enjoy. If want to walk, swim, sightsee, chill, cycle, eat out or shop we have have everything in strolling distance. You will have full cooking facilities, dishwasher and a washer dryer. The en-suite bedroom has super comfy king size bed. We feel very lucky to live here and would love you to enjoy it too

Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

We love living here and we're sure you will love staying in our comfortable guest suite with private entrance. Just a short walk from lake Windermere and the centre of Bowness with all its shops, cafes and restaurants. Your suite is separate from the rest of the house and offers a delightful bedroom with comfy king size bed, French doors leading out to a small raised patio and a private, modern bathroom. Please note there is no kitchen, but we do provide a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge.
