Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Braidwood

Brought the family of 5 down for a couple of days. Christo's place is centrally located to everything Canberra has to offer. No major attraction was further than 20 minutes away. There was plenty of space, inside and out, for our family to stretch out. The yard outside is well kept and the house is furnished for comfort and a traditional style I personally enjoy. The kitchen is fully stocked and everythings located intuitively. Competitive price for school holidays including ANZAC day. Top marks, highly recommend.

This is my 3rd visit to Cockatoo House. We keep coming back as it has all that we need to look after the show dogs, and attend the Royal Show. Great bathroom, all kitchen amenities Off street parking for several cars. Plenty of space outdoor, undercover. Several living areas inside too.

Beautiful location made for a delightful pet friendly get away. The water was still fine for swimming and the munjip trail and markets at Maruya are well with it.

It’s not often you find a place that everyone loves—but Katie’s place absolutely delivered! It was perfect for our whole family, including our dog, toddler, and baby. The home was thoughtfully stocked with toys and activities for small children, which made our stay incredibly easy and enjoyable. We loved being within walking distance to the beach and a small playground—such a great location. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Our stay in Canberra was enhanced by our stay at Chris and Ivan’s. The location was peaceful, not too far from local attractions and great selection of eating out options very close by. Our furry companions loved the huge backyard and were secure during the times we did leave them. Doggie bowls and little touches told us the dogs were more than welcome. Thanks for the great stay, friendly and timely communication, not to mention the offer to turn the lights on for our arrival and local eats suggestions, we had a brief but pleasant trip. Kylie

The house was aged but clean and comfortable. The location was great, very quiet and peaceful with lots of trees. We have 3 dogs who loved the large safe yard and also the reserve behind for long runs. Dog friendly beaches were minutes away. We would recommend a stay here.

Elisa and Andrew were exceptional hosts, providing seamless communication and a warm welcome. Their place was spotless, well-equipped, and perfectly suited for couples with pets - our furry friend especially enjoyed the thoughtful treats left for him! The location struck a great balance between tranquility and accessibility, with main attractions in Canberra just a 15-minute drive away. As experienced Airbnb hosts ourselves, we picked up some fantastic ideas to apply to our own listing. Highly recommend!

The place was better than expected. It’s a really nice place to unwind with friends or partner. The experience was really good and different. The place is surrounded by beautiful art and nature, and is fully equipped for a great experience. Ps: The area is chilly so bring warm clothes! The fire makes it really cozy

Stephanie is an amazing host. This property was not only in a brilliant position but it exceeded all our expectations. We stayed here to celebrate my 60th Birthday with our adult children, partners and our 2 small dogs. The yard is great for dogs although the side gate may not be great for some small dogs as they may get through. We solved this by placing the bins there which worked a treat. Stephanie has indicated that she will look at adjusting this. The house is immaculately furnished and stocked with all the essentials and more. Stephanie was very responsive during our stay when we had some queries, providing us with locations of EV chargers, activities & places to dine. The house is walking distance to Malua Bay Shops. Raymond’s Chinese is delicious. Club Malua has great food, cocktails & Barefoot Bowls.The pool was very clean and refreshing on hot days. The table tennis was enjoyed by all adults. The layout of the house allows for plenty of spots to chill out. We will be back.

Fantastic spot for a weekend getaway! Perfectly suited for two families, with plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves. The house is modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable retreat. It’s conveniently located near all of Canberra’s main attractions, yet nestled in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The kitchen is fully equipped, and essential cleaning supplies are provided, making the stay even more seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Belinda is an amazing host. The place is very thoughtfully designed and very easy to feel right at home. Belinda was very pleasant to talk to and she was very generous and considerate of our living arrangements throughout our stay. We wish her all the best and hope to go for another visit soon.

Great, clean perfectly located accomodation. Jeremy’s instructions were easy to follow and the place was a perfect size for our stay. Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance and nothing to far to drive too. Would recommend this place to anyone staying in Canberra

The apartment is perfectly located right in the heart of Canberra. There are loads of amazing restaurants a short walk away, the tram is across the road, Lake Burley Griffin is a 10 minute cycle, and Coles etc. is a 5 minute drive. There is everything you need for a self-catered stay and the apartment was very comfortable to hang out in while not out exploring Canberra. The access to the swimming pool, sauna, and gym was great and our boys loved playing in the pool. Having the secure car spot was a great addition too as we could safely store our bikes in the underground car park. Although the apartment is in a central location it was nice and quiet in the complex at night and so there was no disturbance to our sleep. Aaron was very friendly and responsive with his messaging. We experienced some internet issues on arrival and Aaron was straight onto it, even contacting the internet provider to check on any outages in the area. I would recommend Aaron's place for a stay in Canberra.

Jules and Rob were excellent hosts. Their house and surrounds are peaceful with an amazing view. Thanks to both Jules and Rob, our family were given the opportunity to care for the ponies, ducks and chickens, which everyone loved. A highly recommended place to visit.

Aaron’s place was in a great location with restaurants a couple of minutes away. The breakfast at the restaurant on the ground floor was excellent. Aaron’s place was clean with comfy beds and everything you would need to self cater. The pool was a lovely temperature and towels were provided. Aaron provided excellent communication and instructions

Sharon was an amazing host! We only stayed at her place for one night, but we were blown away by how much we enjoyed it. Given her pricing, we didn’t expect much, but we were totally surprised when we got inside. This house was a hidden gem! It’s definitely one of the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It feels like you’re right at home. She’s got all the amenities you need, and the place is surrounded by trees, so it’s super serene and quiet. I’ll definitely be staying at Sharon’s place whenever I’m visiting Jervis Bay. It’s my new go-to spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bawley Point. The house is generous in size. I’m very well equipped. The only point worth mentioning is that there are only ceiling fans. If you were going there in the hot season, there is no air-conditioning…

Great vibes, awesome aesthetics however not cluttered and very liveable. The kitchen appliances were high quality and the spices well stocked, and the four queen- sized beds were comfortable. Furthermore, the location was perfect and the outdoor shower (hot or cold) great when coming back from a swim at Bawley Beach. We took the two kayaks down to North beach and paddled up Lake Willinga, but it was a bit of an effort to get the kayaks down. Overall, perfect accomodation for our multigenerational family holiday.

Beautiful House, very quiet and super clean. We felt safe and slept like logs. There is a Lovely terrasse and the street is super nice, leading you to IGA or the beach

Wonderful and relaxing stay. Close to some nice beaches and towns with good hospitality venues. Would absolutely return.

Lilly Pilly Beach is such a gorgeous little protected beach where we loved going when my daughter was little. To be hidden away amongst the gum trees, with sounds of birds and nature, to see the stars and the Milky Way in all its glory at night, was very special. Lauren is responsive and lovely to deal with. She has arranged everything in the house superbly. It is beautifully fitted out and well equipped to make for an easy and luxurious stay for those who like good coffees and cooking. She even has martini glasses and a martini shaker! The ping pong table was great fun. Being able to bring our 17 year old cavoodle was incredible. She had a great time. There are lots of outdoor sitting and eating places. It's a gorgeous spot and we had a wonderful weekend.

Perfect place if you’re looking to unwind. Peaceful and serene amongst the trees and close to the beach. Perfect location, communication was easy and place was super comfortable. Highly recommend.
