My partner and I recently moved over from Sydney and chose Zoë and Bruce's place to stay while we searched for our own place to rent. I'm so glad we found their property as it was the perfect way to be introduced to life in Brisbane - It felt like your quintessential Brisbane home, the house was full of character, immersed in nature with a real sense of calm inside. We had the budgies waking us up, their sweet cat Jack visiting us in our room, the chickens greeting us every morning when we stepped out into the garden, the possums climbing trees outside the kitchen window and we had some tasty bananas from the big banana tree. To top it all off, Zoë and Bruce were the best hosts, they were accommodating with our needs, always up for a chat and laugh and so generous with their time. Thank you Zoë and Bruce, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you both!

Ian’s place is nice for one or two nights if you have work in the area or have to catch an early flight. The rooms have all the essential and air conditioned. Ian provides breakfast in the morning with all his heart. This was a plus point. Thanks for super hosting Ian!

Zoe was really welcoming and lovely! We had the chance to talk about all sorts of interesting topics and her love for life is inspiring. The room was comfortable and large enough to hold the large amount of luggage my boyfriend and I had. I loved spending quiet moments on the balcony enjoying the tranquility of the place and the beauty of the landscape. Note for light sleepers: chicken and birds can be heard in the morning. We had a good laugh the first time! Her cat was really sweet too. In July, it was really cold in Brisbane and we were delighted to find that there was a heating system in the room! We recommend the place !

Beautifully renovated 1930’s double storey building that felt like my Grandmother’s Californian Bungalow in England, so I immediately felt at home. Edward House is spotless, comfortable and a quiet location yet only a stones throw from all Brisbane has to offer. Wonderful continental breakfast with plenty of choices and neatly presented. Certainly will be back and definitely will be recommending to family and friends. Thank you Philip for a great stay.

This is one of the very best Airbnb's that we have stayed in. Helen was very friendly and gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to see. Rose Cottage (in the garden of the oldest privately owned house in Brisbane) was absolutely perfect! Everything was spotlessly clean and so well taken care of. The bed was super comfy, making for a great night’s sleep, and the sitting areas were the perfect spots to just unwind and relax after spending the day exploring this beautiful city. The brand-new bathroom was gorgeous, with a fantastic walk-in shower. And the kitchen—just brilliant! Everything you could possibly need. Such a lovely, cozy place to stay—We would definitely recommend it! Catching the River ferries into the city for just 50c was an added bonus as were the fresh eggs from the hens.

Laetitia was an excellent communicator, helpful and very friendly. The unit was beautifully organized. The complimentary milk, bread, bacon & eggs were greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Location was great, clean and well priced.

The hosts were the most hospitable couple we have ever come across on AirBnb. They went above and beyond to help us make our stay enjoyable. Our children loved the pets (dog Charlie and cat Missy) and I loved the massage chair and massive tv. The house was clean and tidy and as described in every way. We highly recommend

My first stay at an AirB&B and it was brilliant. Guests are made very welcome by Patrick and his good lady and given access to most of the house’s facilities. If I ever return to the area I will book with this lovely couple. 10/10 for me.

As described. Lovely country charm, a better alternative to a basic motel and perfect for a short break away where 5 star luxury isn't wanted or needed, very peaceful. This cottage was perfect for me.
