Awesome place in a perfect location , felt like a world away but in striking distance to everything . Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again .

Overall we had a great stay. The house was extremely comfortable, lovely renovations with lots of thoughtful touches and extras we loved. The location is superb and we loved the outdoor spaces as the scenery ( trees, birds river) was wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable. Our pooch loved exploring in the fully fenced yard. It’s a wonderful place to stay and highly recommended.

When I found Rene's Cottage and went through the description and photos I fell in love with it. It made my day when our stay request was accepted. Nothing could prepare me though for experiencing this place in real life. The cottage is comfortable, provides everything you can possibly need and much more. I have honestly never slept in such a comfortable bed before and wanted to take it home at the end of the weekend. We loved having breakfast on the patio and evening drinks by the fire looking out over the river. It is however the whole place, it's location, rich family history, stunning nature and peace that it exudes that touched my heart. Our hosts made us feel right at home with their friendly and heartfelt welcome. We really appreciate that we got to know Margret and Maria a bit better as well. We couldn't have wished for better hosts. We will return to Rene's cottage and the beautiful Hastings Point, so see you soon Margret and Maria.

What a holiday house! This place was perfect for our family of 4. The kids were excited to find the cupboard of board games and loved the pool. Kitchen was well stocked and the deck with bbq was ideal! Beds were comfy! Highly recommend the local cafe Dulcie & Edna - awesome breakfast and coffee.

We had a fantastic stay at Shane’s place. From the moment she welcomed us, we felt right at home. The apartment was quiet and private - just perfect for recharging. We especially loved the pool and the BBQ, which were for our exclusive use. On top of that, we really enjoyed our casual chats with Shane and saying hi to Yogi, her super cute dog. Thank you so much for making us feel at home! This will remain a special memory from our travels through Australia.

The pictures of this place don’t do it justice. It was the most breathtaking bnb with a gorgeous view. The hot tub was also amazing. Overall such a beautiful, wonderful place to stay. Would recommend. They had everything you could think of that you’d need. Hosts were also super lovely always responsive and happy to answer any questions. Above and beyond. Will 100% be back if we are in the area again.

We had a wonderful time at this waterfront hidden gem property. Tamir was an exceptional host with fantastic communication every step of the way, ensuring all our comfort and needs were met throughout the stay. Checkin was a breeze with clear instructions and the place was beautiful with plenty of surprising extra comforts provided. Our dogs really enjoyed the large back yard and the Jacuzzi was an exceptional bonus! We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises every morning and managed to catch a few fish of the easily accessible pontoon. Thanks so much Tamir and hosts for a lovely experience. We would definitely stay again.

Monique was an amazing host who went out of her way to help us. We loved sitting out on the beautiful deck with the tropical outlook and there was heaps of space for everyone. Loved being able to bring the whole family including the dog. Thankyou!

The place was good. To note though that shampoo and gel only small amount enough for 2 days, limited towels available at the apartment, $300 deposit required and limited tee coffee. The location and communication is great.
