There are also frying pans and saucepans. There is no water supplied, so we will fill a water bottle with clean drinking water, which can be used for both cooking and washing up. The cabin is located right by Vigdelstranden and the lake. The cabin has 2 bedrooms (4 beds), and a loft with 2 extra mattresses. Here 6 people can stay overnight. The bathroom has a shower and washing machine, the kitchen is fully furnished with a stove, refrigerator, and microwave. The cabin has a cozy outhouse. The area offers great nature, swimming opportunities and unique hiking trails.

There is a short walking distance to grocery store and Håland Industrial Area. About 20 min walk to Bryne city center with all the amenities the city has to offer. It is a short drive to beautiful Jærstrender and in the opposite direction to hiking areas on Høg-jæren. It is about 30 min by car or train to Stavanger city center. It is also about 20 min drive to Kongeparken.

If you want to experience Rogaland, Foss Eikeland in Sandnes is a good starting point for day trips to Preikestolen, Kjeragbolten, Jærstrender and Kongeparken, or a walk in nice hiking areas just outside the door. The apartment is new in 2020 and contains a living room, kitchen, bedroom with wardrobe and bathroom. There is both sleeping space and dining table space for four. The apartment has a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and stove as well as TV and wireless broadband.

Boathouse by the lake in Sokn, Stavanger

The boathouse is brand new and part of the seaside house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a jetty with fishing opportunities. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the jetty. The boathouse is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the farm has 5 km of hiking trails.
