Private room in shared home on a quiet cul-de-sac. 3 miles from the Great Allegheny Passage & PIA and 7 miles from downtown (30 min drive). I am within city limits but you'll feel like you are in the suburbs. If you want a cutting-edge hipster neighborhood, this ain't it. Car or Uber/Lyft crucial, though the 56 bus to downtown is an easy 5 min walk. Not accessibility friendly--built in 1952, your room is on 2nd floor and narrow stairs are needed to access everything. Rooms and doorways are cozy.
