Cottage holiday rentals in Cairngorms

I'd highly recommend Eleanor's place for those looking for great accomodation in a great location. It went beyond my expectations and she was a great host. It's been added to the list of places i'd return too!

A gorgeous retreat for a girls weekend. Crieff within a short driving distance for a wee wander round the shops and a coffee. Fairly well equipped kitchen - enough to make simple meals. The hot tub was sublime after a day out. The most lovely views whether the sun is shining or the mist is rolling in! Dina was helpful and easily contactable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wee haven in amongst the busyness of life!

Property was ideally located for quietness. Garden was safe and secure for the dogs. Everything we needed was provided and any queries were answered quickly.

Beautiful cottage, with absolutely everything you need. Comfy and spotlessly clean. The garden is lovely to look out on from the conservatory when eating. Hot tub in the pretty garden was lovely day or night. Eva was a great host, providing lots of info on checking in etc. The location is really perfect as well, 2 mins walk to the beach, about 30 along the beach to Chanory point, lovely fairy glen walk along burn to beautiful waterfalls. Beach cafe 2mins away and cafe/restaurant Crofters (which you can sit in our takeaway) less than 10. 2 Playparks within a few mins walk as well. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful family break! We loved the outdoor space and the beds were super comfortable! We made use of the hot tub and BBQ and enjoyed days out to Stonehaven and St Cyrus beach.

Would just like to say thank you for my stay me and my family loved it spicily the love for cars and stuff cars what was clear throw out the house as someone who’s into cars my self 10/10 for that one small thing can be tricky to get parked sometimes tho that has nothing to do with host just the street but 100% does not affect the stay just to be mindful other than that 10/10 we place really is thank you so much will be back again!!!

Jackie and Stevie were the perfect hosts. Tranquil Cottage was beautiful, had more than expected, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and washing spotless. Set just 30 seconds from the harbour and local pub. Couldn't fault the place or Jackie as a host. We will definitely be back

We had a lovely holiday in Boat of Garten with our kids (7 and 2). The cottage was perfect for our needs - plenty of space for the four of us, but still cosy, and within easy reach of everything the areas offers. We actually didn't end up using the garden much as we were out and about a lot but it's gorgeous and opens right onto the woods behind which was very magical for two city kids. Anderson's restaurant right next door was a bit of a bonus, too, since we could have dinner with the kids and then be home in 30 seconds! The sauna was a fabulous suprise (they hadn't installed it when we booked so we only found out on arrival) and we enjoyed using that after long days walking and carrying our toddler on our shoulders! Laura was super friendly and responsive, including posting my car key back to me after I stupidly left it in the bedside drawer. All in all, a great experience, and would thoroughly Laura's place, particularly to families.

Loved this fisherman’s cottage. Bigger than I had anticipated and a real home from home with everything you might need provided. Comfy beds! Appreciated the enclosed back garden for my two dogs to get a quick toilet break, although the beach across the road meant most times we wanted to head there again and enjoy the amazing beach views! Brett was very helpful and always communicated quickly. This trip was too short - we will be back! So much to see and do in the surrounding area.

Laura’s place was wonderful. She was also an accommodating host, which we really appreciated. The place was beautiful and completely spotless. We really recommend ❤️

What an incredible getaway from the world! Very idyllic, country living. The home felt super cosy and homely. Eggs from the chickens and marmalade in the kitchen waiting for our arrival was a lovely touch! Beds were all very comfortable and we all had great night sleep each night. We had a fantastic stay here! The cottage is lovely and immaculate! Rhona was really proactive with communication and gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and cafes. The location is beautiful! Just a few steps to a lovely and peaceful beach and 10 minutes walk into town. We hope to be back!

What a fabulous little find, cosy cottage fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bed was so comfortable had a great nights sleep. Great location for shops and food. House was spotlessly clean and fab complimentary toiletries. Host was good communicator and was good to know they were available and on hand if needed which we didnt as everything was perfect. Good base for exploring Ballater , Braemar and the surrounding area including Lochnagar.

We had a great holliday. Location and the house were both perfect! The house was spotless and everything you need is there. Lots of great walks from the cottage. We all (family with 3 kids) had a wonderfull holiday.

My family and I had a great stay at Amelias place. the kids especially loved the little play room and location is great for Crieff town centre and all of the surrounding areas

A clean, well equipped, home, in a quiet location, with easy access to many places in the northern Highlands. would stay again.

Lovely wee place to use as a base for exploring the northern parts of Scotland and beyond. Everything we needed and extra supplies available should we run out. You do need to drive to get to the nearest village but the local shops are well stocked the nearby deli is worth a visit. Very peaceful location and felt well looked after by our host.

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely little details in the decor and a super powerful shower. Kathryn was friendly and helpful. Very happy to recommend the cottage.

Really lovely little cottage, very peaceful location and stunning views out the back. Kitchen beatiful and stocked with the essentials (salt, pepper, oil, plenty of pots and pans). Only slight downside would be a very squeaky bed, comfortable enough but noisy.

Everything was amazing. Lovely home and area. Mairi was always proactive snd friendly if i had any questions or needed anything. Would definitely recommend the place to friends and family and hope to get the chance to stay here again.

Simply put , this is the most beautiful setting one could imagine for a private place to stay in the Highlands . The combination of views , the accommodation, the coziness , the walking , and of course the graciousness of the hosts was just outstanding . Hope it never changes …We will be back for sure !
