The Big Bear Phoenix Chalet

You will have the entire place to yourself! The large 1100 sqft house has been beautifully decorated and will amaze you with 16 foot high vaulted pine wood ceilings, natural light, a center piece fireplace plus a large, open plan entertainment area. This spacious “home away from home” sleeps 4-6 comfortably, with two separate bedrooms (one king and one queen bed with quality matresses and bedding), two bathrooms and a CB2 queen sleeper sofa with a fold-out queen mattress in the living room. There’s one full bathroom on the first floor and a large living / entertainment area on the second floor - with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a half bathroom - giving you lots of privacy and options. The Cabin has strong Wifi throughout the house and even on the entire property. The kitchen features a 5-burner gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, frensh press, kettle, blender, 4-slice toaster, rice cooker and a large fridge. The livingroom comes with a 50” Smart 4k resolution TV (wifi connectable) with Netflix and HBO access and a DVD player (we have a couple for you to use) - there’s also a Redbox at Vons only 5 minutes away. Also, there’s an additional TV in the master bedroom with DVD. Surrounded by trees, the house sits on a large fully fenced lot. The sun facing balcony and large outdoor area allows you to star gaze at night or have a BBQ with your friends & family. There's plenty of parking on site for more than six cars or even an RV or boat. We are centrally located on the sunny side of Big Bear Lake - one block from the lake, minutes to ski stations, lake, hiking in the San Bernadino Forest, zoo, golf and shopping/dining in the Village... near by bike, Sup, kayaks & boat rentals. Dogs may be allowed on request - must be discussed first. No cats, sorry. We do charge a flat pet fee on $50/stay. Come enjoy this Winter Wonderland! The whole home, front deck, yard surrounding home with ample parking for multiple cars. The cabin's exterior is monitored by security cameras. BBQ on deck for your grilling pleasures. Sheets, pillows, blankets and towels are provided. We will do our best to make your stay memorable and enjoyable! We are always available via text or phone. Big Bear Phoenix Chalet is quiet, yet is centrally located and close to the lake, hiking, and skiing. It's part of the upscale residential neighborhood of Whispering Forest which is extremely clean and safe. We kindly ask you to treat our home like your own - that’s the way we travel as well and if everyone is respectful of one another, we all have a great experience! *Please take off all shoes & boots at the front door. No muddy shoes allowed in the house. *Guest is responsible to clean up any mess brought into the cabin with mud, snow etc... Otherwise there will be an additional charge of $25 or more depending on the mess or damage. *Residential neighborhood: we have very sweet neighbors so please be respectful of them. No loud noise outside after 8pm, no open fires and no excessive music. *Check-out time is 11am and Check-in is 4pm...please note that we won't have flexibility on this during mayor holiday times *Please turn off all the lights, close windows and turn heater to 55 degrees in the winter months prior to checking out. *Please turn off the propane on the barbecue and scrub down the grill & cover it back up before you leave. Otherwise there will be an additional $25 charge. *If candle wax, glitter, silly string, confetti, red wine, vomit, blood or any unusual mess left to clean up, guest will be charged $150 per incident. *Lost keys - If a key is lost there will be a charge of $150 to cover the cost of a lock smith to come out and exchange all locks. *Trash - Please remove all of your trash from the cabin and put it in the outside bins. If they are full, either take it down the mountain with you or dispose it at one of the address listed below. PUBLIC TRASH DISPOSAL There is residential trash service in our area. However, we ask our guests to take their trash to a near-by trash dump at the end of their stay on their way down the mountain in case the bins are full. The City maintains two public trash sites for trash and recyclable disposal to serve both residents and visitors. Head out to explore the maze of meandering trails in the park before settling down on the sectional sofa in this cabin with modern style and rustic details. All the amenities you’ll need in an open format studio. Owned by interior designers who put a lot of love and style into this updated cabin. Tucked away in Topanga (yet only minutes from town) sits Chandler Farms, a 500 sq ft cabin. Recently remodeled, the cabin is a perfect mix of rustic & luxury featuring a private deck with a hammock facing breathtaking views and a massive walk in shower. A newly remodeled guest cabin with a private front yard and a huge private deck overlooking the canyon. A gorgeous 2 person bathroom with double sinks and a spa style shower with a bench and skylight. Raw hard wood ceilings with rustic touches makes this a unique yet comfy space. Just a 2 minute drive from rustic Topanga and 10 minutes from the beaches of Santa Monica and Malibu, we are also directly across the street from Topanga state park, the largest tract of park land in Los Angeles. Trailhead is within walking distance with access to miles of trails of varying difficulty. Red Rock Canyon is also 5 minute drive. Over the ridge to the Valley is 12 minute drive with access to all modern shopping amenities and restaurants. Its really up you. We are a super chill couple with years of airbnb experience as both hosts and guests. Your space is your own private area that is connected to the main house by a short trail. We are always available to help with advice about the area or to just hang out and trade travel stories. Topanga is a special place that has been occupied by native americans for hundreds of years. They chose this area for its lush vegetations, calm winds and dry temperate climate. The moisture comes up the canyon every morning and evening to feed the vegetation. It truly is a mountainous paradise within proximity to all LA has to offer. The people are a laid back mix of musicians, artists and film makers from all over the world. You can literally get lost in the maze of meandering roads and trails that give sight to the eclectic architecture and natural vistas. Everyday the weather is near perfect - you have to experience it yourself to fully understand. A rental car is a must in LA. You can use LYFT or UBER to get to and from the city but it is not as convenient as having your own wheels. A taxi can be taken from LAX or Burbank airports to the cabin. Mountain biking and hiking are great ways to explore the area. Several trails originate near our home and can be taken all the way down to the coast. Topanga Creek Bicycles is just down the street and is one of the coolest bike shops on the west coast. They offer great deals on mountain bike rentals and can give you advice on what trails you should explore for your skill level. The cabin is a guest house on our property with its own parking space. We have 2 driveways so parking is never an issue. The cabin has a kitchen with a fridge, 2 burner range and a microwave. The private deck features a picnic table, a hammock, two lounge chairs and a small propane Weber grill. Available for any help/guidance! And we love to meet our guests but fully respect their privacy. The cabin is a few minutes' drive to Topanga and some great organic restaurants as well as fun shops. Drive to the beach in Malibu or stay in the area and commune with nature on a hike or bike ride. Topanga Creek Bicycles is just down the street and is one of the coolest bike shops on the west coast. They offer great deals on mountain bike rentals and can give you advice on what trails you should explore for your skill level.

The historic mining property of The Ranch of The Rising Sun was designed and restored as a completely off-grid haven by filmmakerJulian T Pinder. The Ranch of the Rising Sun, a mining base camp built in the 1920's, is the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern amenities. Off grid on a full solar system and water well, the home also provides high speed wifi, state of the art cooling and heating systems on a smart NEST thermostat, flatscreen tv with Netflix, Amazon etc, new top of the line oven / stovetop, vintage sound system with Bluetooth capabilities, keyless door entry etc. Guests have access to the entire house and property, including the wood burning stove (eucalyptus firewood is provided at all times free of cost), cowboy wood burning hot tub / cool dipping pool, grand piano, native cactus garden, fire pit, outdoor banquet dining table, hammock, alkaline drinking water, and some of the best hiking in the area right out the back door. Entire house and property, as well as endless hiking and adventuring right behind the house on thousands of acres of stunning Wildlands Conservancy land, no tourists or park fees to deal with, just old fashioned exploring! There are detailed self-check in instructions. Tyler, my friend and property manager lives nearby and I'm 5 miles away at my other ranch. We respect your privacy 100% but if you need any advice, help, or have any questions we are always available by text or phone 24 hours a day. Pioneertown was built in the late 40's as a functioning movie set by Roy Rogers and the Sons of Pioneers; hundreds of Westerns have been shot here. Catch live music at Pappy and Harriets, minutes away, and go hiking and horseriding out the back door. Unfortunately you'll need a vehicle out here, it's rural! *There's a very strict maximum of 4 guests in the house as the solar and septic system cannot handle any more than that.

Atascadero Guesthouse Central Coast Wine Country

This light and airy hideaway was designed and built by the host incorporating her own handiwork in art and furnishings. Initially a granny flat, it's been transformed into a comfortable and spacious hang out. Its central location makes it ideal to explore the area. There is plenty to do on site; barbecue, play corn hole or horseshoes have fun with games and cards kept in the hall, enjoy the pool and hot tub in the warm season. May to Sept. The twin beds can be easily configured to a king bed. Price includes a 13% local occupancy tax. Your cottage opens up to the pool area which maybe available during the summer months but not guaranteed as this pool is too deep for kids to stand in. There is also a hot tub open from March to Dec. So the key to open the pool is subject to conversation. The pool is shared with us. No parties please. This is a non smoking property. We love dogs but we can not allow pets brought in. We have a large dog and cats. We kindly ask for slow driving up and down driveway as the animals are slow to move as they own the space. These are accommodations you wont find at a hotel. We are not one, this is our home we are opening to share with you. We are next door most times if you have any questions otherwise we will respect your privacy. The guest house sits on three acres with the main house where the host lives with her husband. It is just one and a half miles to the freeway and town. Four minutes to restaurants and grocery stores. There are chickens, 2 baby gosts, and a rabbit on the property along with cats and a large dog, Jules, who is sure to greet you. The pool will be opened to guests that can swim only as the shallow end is quite deep. Opened when the temperature increases in the summer months. A cold pool is no fun to swim in. The hot tub is open in March to Dec. Contact hosts if plan to use.

Studio by the Beach with Separate Entrance

Open the sliding door to let the gentle sea breezes waft in and settle down to stream a favorite show on the Smart TV. The interior blends coastal touches with boho chic, and there are little luxuries like a work space and secluded private outdoor space. I adhere to the CDC cleaning protocols. I use UV C light for added disinfecting and sanitizing of the Studio, and have also added a Dyson air purifying fan and heater to insure you have clean air. This studio is located on the first floor of my three story home. The studio shares the first floor with the garage so you don't have any shared walls. You have two windows, one in the bathroom and a sliding glass door in the bedroom, they bring in light and the sea breeze but have no views. While this studio is private you may hear footsteps above, music drifting in from other parts of the house, and the sounds that come from everyday living. You'll have one parking space available on the right side of the driveway. More free parking is usually available at the end of the street, 15 houses down on panama. During the day there's extra parking at kiddie beach. I live on the two top floors of the house so i'm easily accessible for as much or as little interaction as needed. The setting on a quiet street is only half a block from channel Island harbors Kiddie Beach and 1.5 blocks to Silver Strand Beach, a popular surf spot and vantage point for catching the sunset. Watch for whales and discover a yoga studio, corner market, and salon, all only moments away. Hollywood by the sea has unique sounds too. You'll hear sea lions, boat horns, and on occasion a fog horn. Every morning at 8am you'll hear our national anthem, and at sunset you'll hear taps. You'll have to pay attention or you'll miss it. It's one of many thing I love about this area.

This space can sleep up to 2 comfortably and a futon for 2 additional guests. We have BIKES, a TV, a gourmet kitchen with stainless Frigidaire appliances and laundry room. You will have the entire space for you and your guests! This home has it’s own Private entrance! There is free street parking in front of the house (never had an issue getting parking)! I am available to answer questions via the app, phone or text! Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! Jump on the cruiser bikes to begin exploring, with the beach less than 2 miles away. Downtown Long Beach is not much further, and is known for its sports bars. Sights such as Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and Hollywood are also within easy reach.
