My place is close to Wine Farms, Restaurants, Quirky Shops, Hiking Trails, Horse Riding, Scenic Motorcycle and Cyclist Routes. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the views, the location, the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.
“We really enjoyed our stay at Colleen’s place. She is a very warm and friendly host, with attention to detail, ensuring that everyone is comfortable and lacking nothing. There is even filter coffee in the room :) We highly recommend Colleen’s place!”
Have an authentic home experience and rent a private room in my lovely art deco styled home - built circa 1930 - with its high ceilings and Oregon pine floors. The house is situated at the top end of a very large, charming, English-style garden with established beds, palm trees, a small citrus and deciduous fruit orchard as well as olive trees and beehives; and this overlooks the town and surrounds. (Due to the lingering drought, garden is looking very sad, currently.)
“Peter was a great host and we enjoyed our stay at his place. The room is exactly as depicted in the photos and is great value for money when compared to other accommodation in the area. Peter knows the town and had good recommendations for where to eat out and things to do. He respects your privacy, but if available for interesting conversations and good laughs over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.”
Lenies Hof is a small organic farm with a vineyard, olive and apricot orchards. The contemporary furnished studio for 2 is a perfect hide-away when traveling Route 62. Lenies Hof has a wellness studio where our guests can enjoy a great massage, facial and/or pedicure. The farm has stunning views of the Swartberg and the Rooiberg mountains and is a perfect home-base for exploring the succulent fields. Or, just enjoy the amazing Klein Karoo starry nights with a glass of our wine on the terrace.
“It was a pleasure to stay at Lenies Hof. The engagement and hospitality of Mo and Steve was great. Our hint for your stay: You have to book the breakfast! Mo has an own bakery, so you will get fresh, homemade bread and only regional products like fruits, cheese and eggs. For us it was the best breakfast offer in South Africa. If we had more time, we definitely would have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful pool and the atmosphere at the farm.”
