Welcome to our recently renovated Coach House! It is next to our own house but is completely independent. It has an open plan kitchen/living room and bathroom downstairs and two double bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. We have tried to make the space flexible to suit any group formation! The village has a choice of pubs, a shop and a park is and near to the historic Cathedral city of Worcester and the Malvern Hills and Stratford-Upon-Avon is about 25 miles away.
“This was our second visit this year and we are hoping to go back next Spring so I suppose that says it all! The weather was atrocious so no walking for us this time, but it just gave us an excuse to light the wood burner and relax for the week end, enjoying the comfortable and stylish surroundings and making use of the books on the bookshelf upstairs. We slept, cooked, ate, drank, read, chatted and just generally chilled which was a rare treat for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our week end. Whatever the weather I can't recommend Lorna's place highly enough for a relaxing and cosy break.”
The Stables Cottage is a mews house which is part of a stables conversion once part of an Georgian country mansion on the outskirts of the village of Callow End. It is set in a peaceful rural location and is an excellent place to unwind or to explore the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. The house is a self contained annexe to the Stables with recently refurbished kitchen and shower room, it is comfortably furnished and has a small private garden with patio to the rear of the building.
“This was our third stay at The Stables, and there is a good reason Linda is a superhost! She is always quick to answer communications and leaves thoughtful touches for your stay. On this stay she had made sure the fire was on for our arrival and there were treats to find for both us and the dogs. The house is warm and welcoming and always spotless. Linda had even put up a Christmas tree! It has a lovely ambience and is so quiet and relaxing. The garden is great for pooches and has a seating area for warm weather. It is perfectly situated for Worcester/Malvern and beyond.”
I am in a quiet area in Worcester. The estate I live on has Canadian names. It is 1.75 miles walk away from the town Centre. There is also a bus stop right outside the door. My home is a comfortable place and you will feel right at home. I look forward to meeting you. I can accommodate one more guest on a comfy camp bed in the lounge. It’s always worth contacting the host even if there is a blocked booking as there is another double room for guests
“First time I've booked through airbnb and I was unsure what to expect... Jan was very welcoming, friendly and a joy to stay with. Room was lovely and bed was comfortable. I would recommend Jan to anyone as she is ideally located to Worcester centre with plenty of amenities within walking distance. Thanks again Jan 👍”
