Wallingford was once home to one of the strongest and most important castles in England. In 1067 William the Conqueror instructed the building of the castle on his way to London to take the throne. In 1502 Henry VIII inherited the castle. On 17 November 1652 Cromwell’s Council of State ordered its demolition, making way for this newly built loft apartment within the castle boundary. The Cabin, Henley on Thames is a gorgeous space for you to enjoy your holiday. Surrounded by nature, guests have the pleasure of pheasants, deers, foxes and Red Kites. Located in the back garden of our house you can walk straight into fields and the beautiful Chiltern hills. Its only a 5 minute drive/ 15 minute walk from the centre of the historic town of Henley on Thames. Newly built it features underfloor heating, and brand new designer fittings. Access via woodland path or garden stairs.

Completely separate self-contained studio flat

Self-contained double room with en-suite shower room and kitchen area. Private access and parking. Completely private stand-alone studio but part of our home. Suitable for professional person/couple for short let periods. Ideal Monday-Friday but good for weekends to visit local area too. Free wi-fi, TV. A car is essential. Located in White Waltham village just outside Maidenhead. Easy access to Junction 8/9 of M4 and Maidenhead station. Also handy for Windsor, Henley, Ascot, Reading

Outside seating area with lovely views over main garden. Ideal for a relaxing break with local walks and renowned country pub less than a 10 min walk. Brightwell Baldwin is a small hamlet close to the market and historic town of Watlington. Henley-on-Thames and Oxford City Centre are a short drive away.

A relaxing retreat close to the Thames.

The Studio is a self contained space attached to our home. It has an open plan area with a kitchen, dining , sitting and sleeping space as well as a separate shower room. Access is through a private entrance at the front of the house. Purley on Thames is a small village in West Berkshire with good access to Reading, Pangbourne and Oxford by car. The Studio is a 10 min walk away from Mapledurham Lock on the Thames path and there are also some lovely walks through nearby Sulham woods.

A Perfect Pad in Pangbourne!

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - its now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

Cosy, contemporary self-contained annexe

A cosy and contemporary apartment with private access, en-suite bathroom (shower) and fully equipped kitchen. Set on the edge of the Chilterns there are lots of country walks and we are close to the Red Lion pub with its excellent food and local beers. Perfectly located for Henley-on-Thames, approximately 4 miles away, which is ideal for the Regatta and many of the other festivals held in the area. Windsor is a 30 minute drive away and Reading and Oxford are also easily accessible.

Bright and airey self contained flat

Bright and well equipped self-contained accommodation set in a large mature garden next to the main house. We are located in Peppard within the Chiltern's AONB and there are extensive walking and cycling routes on our doorstep. There is easy road access to Henley, Goring, Marlow, Oxford, Reading and Heathrow airport and there are regular fast trains into London from Reading station. There is extensive parking and all guests have access to the large garden and tennis court.

Fully functional self contained annex for single occupancy (located in close proximity to family house) but in a quiet location with lovely views across fields and no disturbance from main residence. Secure off road parking with latest kitchen facilities for those that want to cook or a nice local pub/restaurant in walking distance for those that don't. (Unable to offer long term lets or double occupancy)
