Included in the National Ecological Reserve due to its richness of flora and fauna, next to Peneda-Gerês National Park and with the Caniçada dam as background. A strategic place located in the middle of nature but with the comfort of the vecinity of cities such as Braga, Porto and Vigo.

Froufe Farmhouse

The house of "Sítio de Froufe" is located in Lugar de Froufe, in the parish of S. Miguel between both rivers in the municipality of Ponte da Barca, geographically within the territory of the Peneda Gerês National Park. What is now the "Sítio de Froufe" was for many years used as a shelter for animals and storage for agricultural products.
