The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

Welcome to Kilcomane Cottage! Set in the idilic landscape of West Cork. Overlooking Dunmanus bay, this generously sized cottage boasts breathtaking views and is situated equidistant from the towns of Bantry, Schull, Ballydehob and Goleen. This newly renovated 150 year old building has a comprehensive modern kitchen and dining area, while maintaining a country cottage atmosphere. Situated on a small farm, it offers seclusion while only being a few minutes drive from many local attractions.

Katie’s Fastnet Cabin The stunning seascape changes every day in front of the nautical themed Fastnet Cabin. Relax and enjoy the ebb and flow of the tide overlooking Croagh Bay located just inside the iconic Fastnet Lighthouse. Situated a 10 minute (10km) drive from Schull the location is ideal to immerse yourself in all the sea and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer (swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing) and enjoy the West Cork walking trails, including Barleycove Beach and Mizen Head.

The Little House, The Cove, Baltimore

One of the oldest houses in the village, this picture perfect cottage provides an ideal base to relax or explore all that the area has to offer. There is a choice of small beaches a stones throw away and spectacular views of the ever changing Atlantic ocean from Baltimore’s famous Beacon only a short walk away. The other direction brings you to the square where there is a choice of pubs and restaurants, whale watching trips and ferries to the islands of Sherkin and Cape Clear.

The Llama Lodge is a free standing stone building behind our farmhouse in a rural location (16km from Kenmare) surrounded by our herd of friendly, free-roaming alpacas & llamas, and stunning views of Kenmare Bay. There is a king-size bed, a small seating area, an en-suite bathroom, and a seating area with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery & plates. Rustic Cottage in a rural setting. YOU WILL NEED A CAR. (We will accommodate guests without a car and arrange prior to pick up and drop off when possible.) Mount Kid Cottage is off the beaten path near the stunning Wild Atlantic Way route. Secluded and tranquil, we are 90 minutes minutes from Cork Airport, 2 hours west of Cork city and a 15 min DRIVE from Ballydehob. Surrounded by working farms on 4 acres; an oasis of trees and home to a variety of bird life.
