Nestled atop a hillside and overlooking the Irish sea and Carlingford Lough, this is a haven for family , or individuals who want to get away from “ the madding crowd “ and live as one with nature. With breathtaking and uninterrupted views over the sea towards the Mourne Mountains , Ros Cottage is a one off and has to be seen to be believed. This family home is within two miles of the medieval village of Carlingford and the home of some of the finest restaurants and bars on the North East coast. Enjoy the excellent quality food and service with the famous locally grown Carlingford oysters washed down with locally brewed beers. Take the local fifteen minute ferry ride and you will arrive at the Royal County Down golf club. Should you prefer things to be a little less hectic , take one of the many hiking trails just outside your back door, or retire to the sun room to read and relax. Alternatively , just meander through the beautifully matured Ros Cottage garden all lovingly planted by the owner. This is a very unique and beautiful home with an abundance of character. It is extremely well appointed with full open plan kitchen, dining room, sun room , utility room and three bedrooms. Hillside Lodge

Hillside Lodge is nestled in the village of Rostrevor, with restaurants, pubs, Kilbroney Park & the beach all within a 1 minute stroll from the front door. The lodge is a warm enticing space with a wood burning stove & spiral staircase to the bedrooms. A large garden lies to the front of the lodge great for children to play football or basketball. The lodge is a renovated old coach house, the main house that it belonged to is available for larger parties, it sleeps 10 (Hillside Holiday Home)

Rostrevor an area of outstanding beauty on Carlingford Lough. With views across the Mourne mountains and Cooley peninsula. Water Cottage is situated in the village beside the Fairy glen. The cottage dates from the 1700's with south facing landscaped rear walled garden with beautiful mountain and church views. Newly modernised and extended to a high standard. The cottage offers spacious luxury accommodation and is a quiet idilic retreat a 2 min walk from the bars, restaurants and coffee shops.

Viking Longhouse / Underground Hobbit Tiny house

This turf covered cabin is a blend of Viking longhouse and underground hobbit hideaway. It's in a beautiful spot in our orchard between the mountains and the sea on our small permaculture farm. Experience camping fire cooking, and clear starlit skies, whilst having a comfy bed, a kitchen, hot water, shower compost toilet and a wood burning stove to cosy round if it gets cold. All on our sustainable ecological farm which has lakes, woodlands and animals to find and explore.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Drummond Tower / Castle

Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.
