The village is dominated by the majestic summit of Mount Carpegna, which shows on this steep slope side, with thick beech trees alternating with the bare rock; allaround there is a varied mosaic of crops, woodland and, here and there, of sharp rocky spikes dominated by ancient fortresses. The ancient village is a short walk away and deserves your attention. The extensive area around the house is magnificent to visit on horseback or with a beautiful walk.
