once again we had a wonderful time at Janet's house. The view is breathtaking and the house itself is cosy and well loved. My grandsons made good use of the kayaks. We hope to be back as soon as we can.

Beach House, Courtmacsherry,West Cork,Atlantic Way

Dyane’s cottage is perfect for anyone seeking peace and quiet. The old cottage is beautifully refurbished to meet all modern needs and offers great privacy. A comfortable, warm, quiet and spotlessly clean place a stone’s throw from a sheltered beach. You can hear the sound of the sea going to bed! The kitchen has everything you need, beds are really comfortable. Lovely strong shower with hot water all day. Mind your head, some doorways are low due to the fact that it’s an old building. The location is great for walking from the house, marked walks all around. If you fancy exploring the Wild Atlantic Way, it’s a brilliant starting point, too. Courtmacsherry is a lovely spot and can easily be reached from the cottage by foot in about half an hour. Dyane‘s communication was always prompt & helpful with details about the accommodation, things to do and restaurants in the area. We loved our time in the cottage & we hope to come back again soon for another helping of paradise.

Anne was extremely responsive and friendly. She was so easy to deal with and we had a wonderful stay in her house. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting West Cork. We will be back again . Cheers

Beach house

We had a great stay in Jennifer's home. The house is in a beautiful location, is spotlessly clean, is well kitted out (everything we needed to cook ourselves) and the views are gorgeous. Jennifer was great at staying in touch and responded to any questions quickly. We were able to walk to beaches in Myrtleville and Fountainstown (35 mins) and Angela's shop and also walk to Crosshaven with amazing sea views (45 mins the long way). We'd like to have walked more as there are lots of walks in the area but we were visiting family and just didn't have time. We were 15 mins from Carrigaline with plenty of supermarket options but Crosshaven had enough of what we needed. We loved having morning cup of tea looking out to sea and going to sleep at night to the sound of the ocean.

Little House, Log Cabin

my friends and I had an amazing time here—it was the perfect base for our Irish road trip. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the fire and sitting out on the patio. The location was ideal, just a short drive to the Cobh waterfront. Brenda was incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for things to do in the area. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone planning a trip to County Cork.

Anne’s airbnb is excellent! We loved being away in the quiet countryside whilst still close enough to town to easily enjoy what it offers. The place itself is clean and tidy with a fridge stocked with the milk, eggs, butter, etc. Much appreciated and very thoughtful gestures were the children’s books and toys provided, as well as the gender specific bedding Anne added to the beds for my children.

Pictures couldn't possibly capture the beauty of the location. Magnificent sunset! The house was perfect for our extended family of 12 adults and 4 young children. The playground and trampoline were a hit Plenty of room to spread out, sleeping was comfortable. Only functional issue we had was hot water for showers. We had to message the host who was able to remotely turn on the water heater. A bit of a nuisance waiting for it to warm up, but worked out in the end. Just a note--read the amenities listing and know what to bring with you (ie shampoo, body wash, any coffee, tea, spices etc you may need to cook. ) It is clearly spelled out. The closest store is 10-15 mins away. Quite a trek if you forget something and don't have a car !
