“Beautiful home located just a few minutes from the city center of Chur. We stayed for one night and had a nice and relaxing evening playing Rumikub. The beds were very comfortable and the house was tidy and clean. In the morning we were treated to coffee. We bought groceries the day before and were able to cook breakfast in the kitchen. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway in the Swiss country side then look no further. Of our 20 days in Austria and Switzerland, Tim and Fabienne‘s home was one of our most enjoyable. Thank you Tim and Fabienne!”
Our house is located above Alvaneu Dorf, the sun terrace of the Albula valley at 1250m above sea level. M with a beautiful view of the village and the mountains from Parc Ela. In the village there is a Volg shop, a good restaurant and a doctor.
“This ist a very cosy and comfortable apartment in a quite and beautiful location in the Swiss mountains. The hosts a very friendly, helpful and concerned for your welfare throughout your stay. There is public transport close by. Even in the freezing winter this apartment is well heated and equipped for bad wether with wine, drinks and TV. I highly recommend this apartment especially for peace and quite.”
The Höckli is ideal for - Nature lovers: ideal starting point for ski and snowshoe tours, 5 'to the valley station Churwalden, in the immediate vicinity of the recreation and sports area Lenzerheide - Romantics: quiet and a little out of the way, in the middle of lean meadows and under a huge pine tree on a slope, everything available for relaxing days - Individualists: far from everyday stress, recharge your batteries, let your mind wander, long walks, stroll in Chur and the surrounding area
“I was allowed to fill up with my dog in this romantic house for more than a month. From the communication with Nina & Irene, to the equipment (snowshoes, sledges, hot water bottle, hair dryer etc etc) to the beautiful landscape in Malix, it was really simply fantastic. The only moments in which I would have wished for a different place to stay were when I was taking a shower and the water suddenly became ice-cold. :) Boiler empty. But that's probably part of it and you learn to use water sparingly. The heating worked great! :) I can only recommend this cute little house to slow down and switch off and I met Nina and Irene, two great people.”
