Fish and canoe the mountain lakes or spend a day at Bearizona an outdoor wildlife experience where you can see bears and other animals close up. Explore the charm of Old Route 66. Parks Chalet - Your Flagstaff AZ Home base

The Parks Chalet is cute as a button. Located 17 miles west of Flagstaff near the historic functioning railroad that also leads to the Grand Canyon. This is a perfect home base to explore Northern Arizona. It can be awkward renting STVR next to full time neighbors however Parks Chalet Borders the Kaibab National Forest with no neighbors next to you so you will have total privacy. In the winter, please ensure you have an SUV, Front wheel drive or 4-wheel drive vehicle in case it snows.
