Just under 10 minutes from Fairlie, 40 min from Lake Tekapo and only 1.5 hr from MT Cook, is our super cute historic Farmers cottage. Watch and pet our friendly animals from the cottage and experience some of the best star gazing in New Zealand from our beautiful hot tub. During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

Xantippe Downs - Separate unit in Peaceful Setting

Separate studio is ideal for couples, solo travelers or business person. Located not far from the town centre but has a rural feel, giving you peace and quiet. Queen bed, fridge, toaster, tea/coffee facilities, continental breakfast and Wifi (now with Satellite giving good connection) A nice comfortable and cosy place to stay. Geraldine is a vibrant town offering boutique shopping, cafes and numerous outdoor activities. Access is via a Lock Box, giving you total control.

Fresh eggs from our hens plus ingredients to cook yourself pancakes for breakfast! Or treat yourself to egg brekkie instead. Super quiet and private for a relaxing good night sleep on a firm bed with optional extra blankets and pillows. The self-contained guesthouse is adjacent to our home and contains everything you might need. Self check-in means you may not even meet us but we're available when required. Free off-street parking. Professionally cleaned between guests.

Delightful 1-bed barn with stunning mountain views

Come and enjoy a stay on our beautiful lavender and olive farm, with breathtaking mountain views. The Barn has 1 queen-sized bed, 1 sofa bed and private bathroom. There is a microwave, fridge and bbq, tea, coffee, crockery etc You can picnic in the gardens or say hello to the dogs, cats, sheep, & alpacas! Breakfast cereals, bread, jams, coffee, teas etc are provided . You can also treat yourself from our range of natural lavender products in our on-site shop.

Forest Bliss Cottage

Everyone is welcome here at Forest Bliss Cottage located 300m up on the Hunters Hills. We have long views east to , the sea at St Andrews to Timaru, to the Port Hills, Four Peaks, Fox Peak . Forest Bliss is a sustainable exotic forest surrounded by pasture lands. We hope that staying in our quiet, sunny cottage you can have time to relax/rejuvenate yourself on your journey enjoying fresh country air, peaceful walks and bird watching. We hope to see you soon!

Self contained bedsit.

Sunny, self contained rooms including separate kitchenette & bathroom with access to shared deck & garden. Own access, twin single beds & free ON STREET PARKING. No extra cleaning fee. I personally clean thoroughly and sanitise all hard surfaces, but expect you to clean, dry & put stuff away that you use where you found them. Bus is Myway, which you book & it picks to up close by or 25-30 minutes walk to town centre, 5 min drive. Supermarket 10 mins walk.

Kingfisher Cabin

Thoughtful, modern design makes Kingfisher Cabin a unique experience. We have created a private, luxury small home that gives you the space you need to comfortably remove yourself from the rush of every day life. Kingfisher Cabin is located just 10 minutes from Timaru and two hours from Christchurch and Dunedin. The cabin is set on farmland with a spectacular view of the ocean. The newly built cabin is exquisitely styled, with a restful and calming vibe.

Timaru Central

Built in 1905, and converted to 2 apartments in the 1950's, we live in the other apartment. The apartment is located in Central Timaru, being 5 minutes walk from the central business area and the Caroline Bay beach and facilities. Fully self contained, it suits a range of requirements from a single person staying overnight, to a family wanting a longer stay. Caroline Bay is home to a local small 'Little Blue Penguin' colony.

Country Cabin

The warm and cosy cabin is a self contained unit detached from the main house, with BBQ, private deck and restful native garden. You will have your own access/key and off road parking. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.

Rocklands Country House

A short 5 minute drive out of Fairlie, this is a perfect holiday home surrounded by picturesque farm land. The living room has a window seat with stunning views of Fox's Peak and the surrounding mountains. The fully-equipped kitchen is spacious and modern. Private, secure, peaceful.

Great for viewing the amazing night skies in this Private garden space which has been converted from a container, Great views from this spot, from the southern alps to the pacific ocean and plenty of countryside in between. A small penguin colony is close by.

Magnolia Cottage is a self contained private cottage set in the peaceful grounds of our own home. With a homely feel and comfortable bed, you will wake feeling refreshed to the sound of birdsong and the smell of freshly baked bread.
