Black Squirrel Barn is a converted 3 bed 2 bath barn. It is completely self contained so you have your privacy but I am close by to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. There are many countryside walks and cycle paths running from the house yet the A1M is minutes away. A PET CONSIDERED BY REQUEST ONLY BEFORE BOOKING (£20 per week)

There's a variety of takeaways including Indian, Chinese as well as fish and chips. The house is positioned on the edge of Oughtonhead Common, a beautiful, peaceful nature reserve. A walk alongside the River Oughton offers the chance to spot wildlife and relax at the end of the day.

Nearly a century old, children call it “The Witches House” and we haven't changed it's magic. A mezzanine provides the main bedroom, a little window overlooks the lawns. Downstairs is a log burning stove, a sofa/double bed, and all facilities needed. French doors open to a patio over the river and woodland views. 40 minutes from London and you're in another world.
