Perfect find for our last minute getaway after Thanksgiving. Very clean and inviting and just what I needed while working some zoom calls while there. The internet was very reliable. Easy to get in and out of. Super happy with this choice of stay! Owner was wonderful to coordinate with.

There was a spot on the floor that was loose by the dinning table that should be repaired and the kitchen counter we had to keep everything off of because of ants.,other than that the place was wonderful especially the view

Absolutely beautiful home!! My kids enjoyed it so much. Very clean and comfortable. The boat ramp next door was so convenient. Will definitely return to this house if back in this area!

We really enjoyed the location being as close as it was to everything to do in Lake Charles as well as the feel of seclusion as you make your way around River Road to the house. Would definitely stay here again.

The water was very elated at night when you are washing clothes and it takes time to change

The house was very clean and comfortable, the view of the river spectacular. We enjoyed watching the wildlife, especially the purple martins. Would recommend to anyone spending time in the Natchitoches area. Thank you Dustin!

Suzy's place was even better than described. The photos don't do it justice, great amenities, well stocked. They really thought of everything and more. Beautiful, peaceful location with a great spot on the front porch for morning coffee.

Very comfortable, clean place to stay. Darlene thought of everything, with plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, cleaning supplies, everything. The sunrise in the morning was beautiful! Loved our stay and will definitely be back!

I paid $188 for a $54, found out the pet fee was $100 so I border my Doodle. AirBnB refused to refund my $100. The host unfortunately used the cancelation policy on us and kept the extra $100. No worries it was a cheap lesson.

Lovely place to stay. Fishermen, you get entire drive way to yourself. Clean and good water pressure for the shower. Was just a little confusing on where the unit was when showing up. I've seen other owners use a little directional sign to their units.

Laura was very pleasant and responded quickly to all of my questions. She went to check out the rental before we arrived to make sure everything was in order. Enjoyed communicating with her.

This is our 2nd time staying at Playin’ Possum. We absolutely love this rustic cabin on the bayou. Abbie is amazing- answering any questions and responding quickly. The location of the cabin is perfect… central to all kinds of fun! Our favorite part of Playin’ Possum is the deck that overhangs the bayou. Great place for morning coffee or wine in the evening- watching the birds and alligators mosey by. We’ll be back again soon!

We loved the peacefulness and the tranquillity of the place. It was the perfect place to come home to after a hectic day. My sister being from up north was thrilled to see the local wild life. We will definitely be back!!

I came here for my wedding with a few of my groomsmen and it was the perfect spot. The location was extremely convenient for where our venue was with only needing to drive a few minutes. There is fish in the pond with plenty that bite. Kaysee and her husband Matthew were very flexible with changes I had to make during my stay and very responsive to texts and calls. I really loved the view at night and during the day it's great too. Can't wait to be back!

I’ve booked many ABNB’s. This one was by far the best. The home looks just like the pictures- extremely clean and comfortable. The host, Marsha, is the most genuine and kind host. Goes above and beyond. She takes pride in her place- and that’s the most important thing to us. It shows. She’s done a fantastic job, and we most definitely will be booking again. 🙂. We have passed this listing on to all our family and friends.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming fishing cabin on False River! The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and it was the perfect spot for our family of six (including two kids) and our two dogs. The porch was our favorite place to start each day with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, taking in the peaceful view. The dock was great for a little fishing and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Inside, the cabin was older but cozy and well-equipped. We were able to cook breakfast together, and the kids had a blast watching movies and playing games in the evenings. It really felt like a home away from home. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, was incredibly responsive, and gave us great recommendations for local activities. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and spend quality time with our loved ones. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly retreat!
