Holiday rentals with lake access in Central Louisiana

It’s was a blast as always. We caught plenty of fish (I caught the biggest catfish)😂😂. We love David’s place. The had everything we need to cook. Nice peaceful quiet place. I would recommend anybody to go visit his place. Just take care of his place and you will have a great time.

We had the best stay! Fully stocked kitchen, very clean and allows pets. Host is very responsive. We had the best time and will book again.

I cannot say enough great things about "Shore Thing" and it's host Amy! From start to finish, Amy was an amazingly responsive and gracious host! She made sure we had everything we needed to make our vacation an incredible experience. Coming from someone who is in the "people business", I can always tell when someone takes pride in what they do. Amy is DEFINITELY one of those people! Everything in this place was clean, in order, and well-maintained. From the modern updated bathroom and kitchen appliances to the multitude of other amenities, "Shore Thing" is the best place we've ever stayed on Toledo Bend Lake! I HIGHLY recommend this property and especially it's host. Thank you again Amy and "Shore Thing" for making our vacation spectacular!

Great stay! Plenty of space and privacy for our group. Exactly as described! Check in and out was simple and Thomas was very responsive and accommodating.

Everything was great! Place was amazing had everything we needed for a relaxing trip on the lake! Right next to a boat launch only sad this we couldn’t cast off of it 😢 but nothing to ruin the trip over! We had a great time by the camp fire and cooking lots of food!

2.families met for a memorial service staying in 2 different rentals. Both parties chose Dustins place to get together. The living room had french doors opening onto a covered deck with another drop down deck. A large covered pier was on the river. 3 kayaks were available and there was easy access into the water with a floating dock. It was perfect. The kitchen had everything, including spices, that we needed. The house was spotless and lovely. I live in Natchitoches but i can see my family renting again for family get togethers. Thank youbso much, Dustin!

Exceptional experience! David is a wonderful and personable host. He is very accommodating and the location was perfect. He gave us great fishing advice and restaurant recommendations. We felt like we were at home and were very comfortable. It was peaceful, private, and exactly as described. Extremely clean and well kept. We will definitely be back!

Suzy's place was even better than described. The photos don't do it justice, great amenities, well stocked. They really thought of everything and more. Beautiful, peaceful location with a great spot on the front porch for morning coffee.

Very comfortable, clean place to stay. Darlene thought of everything, with plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, cleaning supplies, everything. The sunrise in the morning was beautiful! Loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Minha estadia foi maravilhosa! Gostei muito da casa e do conforto oferecido (máquina de lavar, duas televisões, secador de cabelo, vários itens de casa, ótimos móveis…) me senti tranquila e acolhida! Achei que o custo benefício foi excelente, a limpeza estava super ok e tudo estava muito bem localizado e organizado. A comunicação com Rex também foi muito boa, tirou todas as minhas dúvidas e respondeu tudo super rápido. Foi ótimo passar 9 dias na casa e não tive problema nenhum, fiquei super contente e despreocupada. Possui uma boa localização, bem perto da universidade LCU. Recomendaria para qualquer pessoa com toda a certeza e se eu for a Pineville novamente, voltarei a me hospedar na casa. Muito obrigada, Rex! O serviço oferecido foi muito satisfatório.

Would recommend this cottage. It was very homey. Sheryl was very responsive and friendly. Gave us some amazing recommendations for around town. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Laura was very pleasant and responded quickly to all of my questions. She went to check out the rental before we arrived to make sure everything was in order. Enjoyed communicating with her.

Having been given one day notice by a prior bnb cancelling on me, Kaysee really saved the day. I’ve never been more happy a bnb cancelled on me, because this place is perfect. We had everything we needed, and the hosts were very warm and accommodating. My girlfriend and I only regretted that we didn’t have more time to spend at this beautiful spot. Thanks for having us!! P.S. bring a camera!! The beautiful backyard and lake gave us some of our favorite pictures from our entire trip.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Marsha greeted us with a warm welcome. She gave us a tour of the property and was very helpful. My son is still talking about her muffins she made for us on our arrival! I will definitely be back and thanks for a wonderful experience!

Un véritable coin de paradis, loin du tumulte, mais proche des commodités. L’endroit est juste parfait, les levers et couchers de soleil sont visibles depuis la maison. On s’y sent bien tout de suite et la maison est tellement accueillante qu’on a envie de prolonger le séjour !

Rich's place was wonderful! They have thought of everything to make our stay relaxing and stress free. They have all the little extras from extra towels to a cooler for the dock. Everything was so clean and the house was decorated so stylish. There are lots of places to relax from the living room, the screened in porch, the patio, the fire pit and the deck with fans and loungers. Our boys had fun fishing. The neighbor came out and give us great restaurant suggestions and suggestions for fishing False River. Everything was perfect! We hope to come again someday! Thanks Rich!
