The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

The Cabin is situated at the end of our drive, with it's own parking area and a small private garden offering a sea view and is the perfect place to watch a beautiful sunset in peace and quiet. Inside, the cabin offers a living space perfect for a couples retreat to get away and unwind.

The Pod is on a quiet country lane with lots of wonderful walks straight out the door. Perfectly situated to take full advantage of the stunning view, New Quay is on only a short 15 minute walk away on the coastal path. Each tent has a wood fired hot tub, a wood burning stove and its own private toilet and shower. The King size bed sleeps 2 adults and there are bunk beds that are ideal for kids.

Welcome to our lovely character filled cottage ‘Y Bwthyn’ situated between New Quay and Aberaeron. It provides an ideal base to explore beautiful Cardigan Bay and the Ceredigion beaches. We’re less than a mile from Cei Bach and Traeth Gwyn beaches and half a mile from the Welsh Coastal Path so it truly is a walker’s paradise. You can even walk along the beach to New Quay at low tide.

our cottage is situated on our family home and smallholding, with distant sea views over the country side, lots of animals and wildlife and wonderful sunsets. a convenient location with easy reach to costal towns of aberaeron, Newquay, Aberystwyth and cardigan. As well as many guests visiting the likes of the elan valley, devils bridge and may other walking spots.
