Listen to the stream trickling past, or relax in the brand new hot tub with complete privacy. You can stay warm in fluffy robes afterwards in front of the brazier. Take in the stunning views from all aspects of the cottage with the option to light the log burner upstairs for the ultimate in relaxation. There are many options for country walks, some with pubs.

Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking and stunning views of the reservoir and Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with double bed upstairs and sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a run of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high, without guardrails and there is a shallow pond.

Romantic Somerset hideaway

Hello! We are Rob and Kate and we have poured our heart and soul into our guest house. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Shared driveway next to main house. Not suitable for children or pets.

There are plenty of restaurants available in cheddar or you can easily pick up a take away. Cosy country cottage

The cottage has views over looking Cheddar Gorge and Axbridge. The annex has a private entrance into lounge with stair case going up to lovely bedroom, which has a double bed and single bed plus small en-suite shower room. There is a small kitchenette . We are 20 minutes from Bristol airport, 20 minutes from Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, 50 minutes from Bath. The accommodation is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
