Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Chester County

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. Our accommodations were immaculate! And the host was so nice and interesting to visit with. The breakfast they made for us was delicious with a lot of variety. Everything was a great blessing. Thank you!

Glenda was extremely nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. It is in an old historic family farm house that is quite unique. The working farm is interesting to tour. There are many local shops and restaurants in the area. It was convenient to visit the Sight and Sound Theater. If I had to pick one negative it would be the stairs. They are steep and would not be comfortable for everyone to climb. Otherwise it is a great place.

Glenda and Charlie’s place was in a perfect location and they were so friendly. Loved getting to chat with Glenda. She is absolutely lovely and so welcoming!

Very well kept older farmhouse with updates and wonderful inviting updates. We spent the night and felt right at home, had a great breakfast with other guests, and was able to see the farm on a short walk. Exactly as described, thanks to the great hosts!

This is my second stay with the Martin family and I certainly plan to return many times in the future. It feels like a second home the minute you walk inside and the Martin family always provides very clean accommodations with special touches, a beautiful homemade breakfast, helpful suggestions, great conversation, etc. It's the perfect type of old fashioned genuine hospitality that you rarely find these days in any accommodation. Melanie, the wonderful host, is someone I looked forward to seeing and can't wait to see again.

The hospitality was absolutely incredible! First bed and breakfast for us on our anniversary and the breakfast was amazing! The house was old and had that back in time feel. They do a wonderful job, thank you!

My husband and I had an amazing time at the Amethyst Inn! Kimberly was super helpful and always ready to assist us. The location is perfect for exploring Lancaster and the surrounding areas, and there are tons of antique shops nearby. The house itself is super clean and cozy. We stayed in the topaz room, and it was huge with a big bathroom and a Jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was incredible! Every day, we had a different breakfast, and our host was always on time, serving breakfast at 9 am sharp. We’d definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to anyone reading these reviews.

Thomas and Amanda were awesome to meet. We loved our stay and appreciated all the extras they do to make everything feel like home away from home. They made us feel like family from the beginning. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing staying!! Actually one of the best airbnb experiences ive ever had. Really enjoyed talking with Thomas and getting to know the family. Will definitely be back soon. Also the room was perfect and beds were very comfortable and clean.

We stayed at the Barn listing for my daughter’s dance competition in Lancaster. Although we didn’t stay long and didn’t get to really explore the gorgeous property staying in such nice comfort after a long day at the Convention Center was just so nice. We felt like we were home. We have already booked to stay again a in few weeks when we are back in town for another competition. Thanks again for making checking in so easy and your place so nice for out of town guests. We loved it and felt super safe and comfortable! Book your stay your won’t regret if your planning on staying in the area.

Kate & Jan are excellent hosts. From their ad, I knew their home was going to be the quintessential example of what a BnB should be…and I was right. They have done a great job of changing a house built in 1837 into a home-away-from-home for travelers. They are very fun to chat with and they make a great breakfast! I highly recommend you stay there when you are in the area to visit the local gardens.
