“Sheps Miners Inn is in the old mining town of Chloride that is interesting to explore and if you are there the first or third Saturday of the month you may see the 'shoot out' in Cyanide laid on by the local historical re-enactment group. The hospitality is great, the restaurant food is fab and the live music wonderful. A good place to kick back and relax.”

“Kim and Kelly's place was even better than we had anticipated. It's in a beautifully remote setting but still very close to the highway, and is tastefully decorated with all sorts of cool things from old wagons in the front yard to a working vintage arcade game in the back room. Outside also had beautiful fairy lights and a bonfire! The kitchen was very well equipped with utensils, pots/pans, spices, and a number of other things left behind by previous guests, such as pasta. Only thing is the wifi was a bit slow, which would be expected for the location, so just note that you probably couldn't work from here. Absolutely loved our stay, highly recommend.”
My place was originally built as a place to relax and breath clean air. Now it is serving happy vacationers who want to really experience Arizona (which is difficult from a hotel room). The home is not actually IN Golden Valley Arizona, but in a small community to the East called So-Hi. The crime rate in So-Hi is extremely low. I lived there 12 years without experiencing any crime.
“Great value. Good for ppl who are more outdoorsy? I saw so many different kinds of bugs I didn’t even know existed— keep clean and don’t let any crawl in your bags! Internet was slow (10 Mbps down, 1 up) but stable for the most part. One issue was when it became very windy, the kitchen door blew in a few times despite being locked with the deadbolt. I had to monitor it to make sure my pet wouldn’t escape outside.”
