Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Clutha District

Bull Creek is an absolutely lovely spot. Quiet and remote with lovely bush and beach walks. The neighbours were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Walking in the nearby bush being deafened by the bellbirds a definite highlight. Views from the house of the sea was spectacular and the coastal walks and seeing the seals and lots of birds was another highlight. All of us agreed that we would love to stay again.

Wonderful place for a relaxing stay. Absolutely stunning scenery, and such a cosy spot. It was so wonderful to be able to bring our dog, too - he was in heaven running around, and having Sarah be so accommodating with him allowed us to relax even more. Lovely touches throughout like candles, and the fire ready to go if we needed it! The outdoor bath was also a fabulous treat that we thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be back!

This is an older home with the quirky features of one, but most importantly it was CLEAN! The linens clean and fresh, kitchen and the rest of the home as well. Lots of room to spread out, lots of wood to keep us warm, many games, books and magazines. The puzzle coffee table was great and the evening found the family gathered around it. Location was good view o and close to the water. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic place to stay, especially if you are riding the Clutha Gold Trail. It's right on the route. Beautiful, comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious. Bridget went out of her way to help us. Organizing a pre cooked dinner, as we were biking with little place to carry this from Lawrence. I would definitively recommend a stay here.

Great place. Beautiful scenery. Perfect for relaxing and we enjoyed the spa, especially with the clear night sky. Would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely loved staying in this cosy home with our 2 children. Beautiful views and nice and private. Noelenes book with all the info of local sites to see was very helpful. Loved seeing and listening to the tuis just outside the window. Lovely fire to keep us cosy at night. Super relaxing, would love to stay here again. Very reasonable price too we thought.

We absolutely loved our stay! The unit was clean, has stunning views and was very peaceful and relaxing! We really appreciated the kitchen being stocked with fresh milk, orange juice and muesli! It was lovely to come back to a spa at the end of the day after adventuring around The Catlins. Thank you Lisa :)

I really appreciated the host putting so much love and attention into the house. It really was perfect! After traveling the whole world, this is by far one the most beautiful beaches I have seen. You can see the sea lions from the bedroom window and on a short walk I saw a penguin. While there are little houses next to the property, the neighbors are seldom there. I stayed for a month and saw people maybe two or three times. The rest of the time it felt extremely private. The house is about 25min drive on an unpaved road from Milton. A super tiny town. So if you want to get away, this is the place. What a hidden gem! Super recommended.
