The photos do not do this place justice - it was so beautiful! The wildlife was amazing, woodpeckers, owls, bats and the chickens. All kitchen equipment needed to make a lovely dinner our first night in the kitchen and ate outside in the private garden area whilst watching the chickens and playing with the lovely dog on site (Charlie ❤️). The towels were hotel quality, as was the bedding. The lodge is opposite a lovely pub where we got a free drunk after saying we were staying at the lodge which was a lovely touch. Really special place and we would love to stay again.

Absolutely fabulous weekend in this beautiful special place. Very much worth the wait. So nice of the owners to share their home to allow us to visit and make memories. I can see why George loved this place so much ❤️

what a lovely cosy place it felt like home from walking in. The area was quiet and peaceful. would definitely recommend this property and host. Thank you for a lovely stay. Working away from home has never been so pleasant.

This is by far the best place we have ever stayed in. Every single detail was top notch level and the communication between us and all members of the team was super professional. Simon, Ruth, Delia & Melina made our stay absolutely perfect. Unfortunately we didn’t meet Abi but I’m sure if we had she would have been as delightful as all of the team. The locally sourced food hamper was another was another lovely added touch to a magical stay. We were also lucky enough to be able to buy a couple of plants from the garden to take home which we will treasure. Goring is a beautiful place and literally every single person we talked to in the village from restaurants, pubs, shops etc were so nice and kind to us- wish we had come here years ago. The most relaxed, tranquil and professionally run place we have stayed in with attention to detail in abundance. Thank you to all members of the team for making our stay way beyond perfect and can’t wait to stay again asap! Dave & Helen (Cardiff)

It was lovely to be the first guest at Duxford - I had a lovely warm welcome from the chickens, ducks and Ruth. The cabin is set in the beautiful garden grounds in a secluded corner, which was lovely. It's a great space, with a good sized bathroom and seating area too - I felt very cosy and comfortable snuggled up on the sofa watching a few films. The kitchen area was also good, with the full hob and little oven/grill so I was able to cook nice meals for myself! The new bed is super comfortable and I enjoyed a couple of slow mornings where I could have easily stayed snuggled up. The cabin is beautiful, but wasn't quite finished for my stay - once everything is fully completed, it will be a really lovely, restful space. I had a lovely stay all in all, and it made for a lovely bit of solo time in between moving places. Toby was a wonderful, accommodating host and even gifted me with some fresh eggs which were yummy!
