Enjoy quiet country living in our guest house by our home on the Platte River. There are forty acres where you can fish, walk, swim, or just relax on the porch. The nest accommodates a family of four, but if you need more space ask to add the River Room to your reservation. Enjoy one of the restaurants nearby or bring your own food and utilize our gathering space with couch, tv, fridge, kitchenette, and grill. WIFI is available but we recommend you put down the devices and enjoy your getaway.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Cozy and quiet near all the Columbus living essentials. 2 min drive/16 min walk to great bars and food downtown. Grocery, Movie Theaters, Snacks all nearby. Walk to the waterpark or summer farmers markets, grab a quick snack at Dairy Queen around the corner. A new library nearby adds to the charm. A permanent resident lives in a separate area. Your privacy will be respected, along with independence access to your own entrance.

Large beautiful home overlooking 250+ acre lake/wetland. Abundant residential and migrating waterfowl, including geese, ducks, pelicans and bald eagles provide for a birdwatchers delight. Wild turkeys and whitetail deer will be your neighbors. A short walk on our 800 acre property gets you to the banks of the Elkhorn River. Five bedroom house sleeps 14 comfortably. Large kitchen seats 10. Two separate living areas with TV's. Ample space for a large family getaway in northeast Nebraska.

This Hidden Gem is nestled between Gans Lake and the Platte River. The interior has cozy cabin feel for a romantic getaway, family stay or just to relax or entertain. Picture windows provide amazing views with occasional wild life sightings. Perfect for water lovers. Enjoy the peaceful lake side by swimming or fishing. The Platte River side is popular for air boating and kayaking. Cap off the evening around a camp fire while stargazing into the night sky.

Stay in this historic carriage house apartment. Although beautifully decorated it does not pretend to be a five-star hotel. Our home is next to a train track. Welcome to rural Nebraska. Stroll down to Side Street Deli for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Enjoy the Dark Island Trail located 5 minutes away. Plan dinner at Prairie Creek Vineyard and Winery located across the street or at the authentic Mexican restaurant that is a 1 minute walk away.

Humphrey, NE has everything you could ask for in a small town, and now you can enjoy it from the comfort of a true home away from home. Gather with your family around any of the 3 TVs, play board games, or enjoy their company out on the screened in deck. My wife and I and the 6 kids self manage the property and look forward to your visit!

This is a cozy resting spot for business travelers, or weekend guests visiting family. It underwent a complete renovation and ready for it's first guests who arrived in February, 2019. Enjoy the quiet outdoors out on our deck or just relax inside. This is a quiet neighborhood and 11-7am is quiet time. Please take your noise inside as this is strictly a non-party property.
