Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Private annexe, with own entrance, kitchenette area no sink as washing up is done for you. Parking space. situated in a small country village, lovely walks on the doorstep and close to Bristol, Bath, Wells and Cheddar. Bristol Airport is 20 minutes away. The Beautiful Chew valley lake is 3 miles away and is ideal for walks, bird watching and fishing. Other attractions within an hours drive are stone henge, Weston Super Mare, Longleat safari Park. The perfect base for visiting the West Country.

Harptree Hideaway is close to historic Bath, vibrant Bristol and Wells with its Cathedral and Bishops Palace. We are very close to Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. We are surrounded by fabulous pubs and places to visit e.g Chew Valley Lake, famous for its bird watching. East Harptree is a beautiful village with lovely walks and woods accessible straight from the door. The apartment is of a high standard with separate bathroom, bedroom and lounge/kitchen. It is spacious, comfortable and cosy.

The Cabin is a very peaceful, beautiful, cosy, full wooden build with full gas central heating and valley views. It's a great base for walks / cycling or a relaxing vacation. It is within easy reach of historic towns such as Bath, Bristol, Weston Super Mare and Wells with its Cathedral and Bishop's Palace. We are very close to Cheddar Gorge caves and Wookey Hole caves. There are plenty of nearby pubs and places to visit e.g Chew Valley / Blagdon lake both famous for its bird watching .
