Historic Hilton Farm - Rooster Cottage

The stunning Hilton Farm is one of the oldest and most historic farms in the Eastern Cape, with the original 1837 settler home now a national monument. Set within the grand gardens of this estate are two cottages. Rooster is a two bedroom cottage with a beautiful country kitchen a living room that opens up onto a spectacular view of the beautiful garden and estate lawn. The patio is the perfect place for coffee catching the morning sun, which dances through large oaks onto dew swept lawns.

Fisherman's Cottage in the beautiful Karoo

Situated on the R400 dirt road between Jansenville and Somerset East, this cottage is the ideal getaway from the city. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you! The cottage is pet friendly and self-catering. There is no WiFi but there is cell reception. Some activities to keep you busy during your stay on the farm include: fishing, walking, bird viewing and cycling. The cottage is situated next to a dam. R300 PER PERSON PER NIGHT Children under 4 stay for free.

Copper Moon Game Lodge

Copper Moon Game Farm is situated on the northern border of Addo Elephant National Park south of Somerset East in the Eastern Cape in a malaria free area. It comprises 8 500 ha of mixed Karoo veld with rolling hills, dense valley bush, montane grass and fynbos in the deep valleys of the Zuurberg.
