Holiday rentals in County Longford

This is a great place to rent, very difficult to find quality like this in this area (my wife’s parents live nearby so we have lots of experience!). It is a real home from home experience which we like. There were just the 2 of us on this occasion, but there is plenty of room for families. Keenan’s bar is a 2 minute walk and is very handy after a day with the in-laws! Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Absolutely stunning, homely, beautiful, spacious and practical. Each bedroom and bathroom is beautifully designed with love and care as well as interesting art work. Views are outstanding and it feels amazing to wake up in such a nice peaceful place. Everything was clean and it is full of useful appliances. Host was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope to visit back here again.

Fantastic weekend away with my wife. Very peaceful, lovely scenic walks. Very clean, everything you need. Breakfast and milk provided. Ciaran was very responsive to any messages, definitely will be back!

We had a lovely two week stay at Herons Lodge. The house was spacious and clean. Easy to find. We had two families with a total of 14 people and there was plenty of space for all of us to relax in between adventures. We had no issues that needed to be addressed, the house was in perfect condition.

This was our second time staying here. Once again we are completely satisfied with the quality of the accommodation and the area in general. Stephen gave us loads of extras, he went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay which of course we did. Highly recommended host and accommodation, we look forward to returning here in the not too distant future.

Excellent stay! David was very helpful-meet us when we arrived, showed us around, even provided some basic needs like milk and bread. The place was very clean and comfortable. Washer/dryer was a challenge but David did warn us in advance to be proactive. It’s not far (20/30 min) from Roscommon tourist things to do and Carrick on Shannon. I would stay again for sure and would highly recommend!

I couldn’t recommend staying at pinewood lodges enough. Erica was so accommodating and friendly. The place was exactly what I expected and more. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with a lively town nearby this is where you should stay.

The house was amazing, everything was new and clean, and the location very peaceful and beautiful. Gerry and Leslie were great, very proactive and responsive in the communication, they made sure we checked in smoothly and provided also recommendations for restaurants and spots around. We enjoyed our stay a lot, wish we had more days. Super recommended.
