The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan/vegetarian sanctuary on a hill, nestled in its own small wild nature garden and developing food forest of fruit, nuts and wild edibles. We have developed our whole site into a track system or otherwise known as Paradise paddock. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands and surrounding counties.

Apple Shepherd Hut

Apple is a traditionally crafted Shepherd's Hut (wagon on wheels used by shepherds), with a wood stove and electricity. It's located in our secluded wooded Glamping overlooking Slane Castle with communal facilities (kitchen, showers, toilets and dining area). In Winter Apple is moved to a sheltered location by the main facilities. There's a BBQ, wood-fired hot tub (costs extra), clay pizza oven and self-catering organic pizza packs (costs extra) with ingredients from the farm.
