Beachfront 'Seashells' B+B - Double Room

Eric and Dympna live in a modern 3 storey beachfront guesthouse in the quaint and picturesque seaside village of Duncannon. The friendly village also has a working fishing harbour, and is built around a spectacular star shaped 16th century fort. The village has a couple of nice pubs which serve excellent food and are a great place to sit and relax after a day sightseeing. Our uniquely situated home has 3 en-suite rooms for guests, 2 with large south facing windows giving exceptional views of the award winning beach and surrounding Waterford estuary. Your room is a very comfortable triple ensuite with a double bed and a single. This room sadly does not have a sea view, you'll just have to wait until breakfast time to enjoy the spectacular view! Your stay with us also includes a hearty Irish breakfast, which will be served to you while you take in the magnificent views from our breakfast room directly overlooking the beach. The surrounding area is renown for outstanding natural beauty and has remained unspoiled, while still easily accessible to all major routes. Duncannon is 2 hours from Dublin or 45 mins from rosslare ferryport.

Breakfast is NOT served on site but is included at local Café. However, the rate quoted is for room ONLY and extra charge applied should breakfast be required at our Café partners. Cosy Rooms, one, en-suite and the other is is located on a shared landing. Located a 5 min walk to beach and another few minutes further to Hill walk over the Fishing Harbour. Excellent Pubs and Restaurants within walking distance and plenty of music entertainment in particular through Spring, Summer and Autumn months

Highlands Cottage

Everyone is welcome, but please note that there is no smoking on the premises. While there are Tea and Coffee making facilities, the accommodation is not Self Catering. It is offered on a Bed and Breakfast basis only. Situated on a quiet country lane about 1 mile outside the town of Gorey in Co. Wexford, Highlands Cottage is a lovely little house set in mature gardens, with flowering bushes, trees, plants and lots of peace and quiet. There is no traffic noise, just the sounds of nature.

Woodville, Eir code Y34 WP93, is a 200-year-old Georgian house on the family farm and is surrounded by parkland. Renovated in 2006, it retains its period style now with modern amenities. Guests are also welcome to explore the large Victorian walled garden to the rear of the house as well as the water gardens. We are conveniently located to explore fabulous beaches, the Barrow and Nore river valleys, golf courses,horse riding stables and the towns of Wexford, Kilkenny and Waterford.
