Gîte with swimming pool in the green heart of France

Next to our farm is the small gîte on a dead end road. The old barn was transformed by us into a self-contained studio with all the amenities (incl. solar panels) for a carefree vacation; open space with kitchen, seating area, queen size bed and bathroom. In front of the gîte is the private covered terrace with fencing, so dogs can safely loose. In a separate piece of garden, there is the swimming pool, which our guests can use. Suitable for 2 people. Pets are welcome.

In an exceptional setting, close to the beautiful lake of Vassivière, come and discover our fully renovated cottage. Le Béchat can accommodate 8 to 10 people, it will seduce you with its services, its noble materials, as well as its environment, in a vast property surrounded by forests, meadows and rivers. Our alpacas, horses, ponies, donkeys, goats, sheep, rabbits, will delight young and old. Beautiful walks also await you in the woods and gardens of the property.

Located near the confluence of the Creuse, bordering the river (swimming and fishing) and not far from the ruins of Crozant. If you want to escape for a few days or weeks, enjoy a rental in a picturesque setting. In this quiet and friendly place, with family or friends, you can enjoy the many hikes, as well as the charm of the landscapes of Fresselines where water holds a prominent place and which has seduced landscape painters since the end of the 19th century.

The bucolic interlude

In the countryside, the small road does not go beyond the tiny hamlet of three houses. The cottage is very close to the other two houses. It opens onto a lawn with a lovely view of a pond of more than 1 ha. Ideal for unwinding, hiking, discovering a green region of forests and meadows where beautiful Limousine cows graze. Saint Leonard de Noblat, the beautiful medieval city is 15 km away, Lake Vassivière is 20 minutes away, Lake Bujaleuf is 8 minutes away.

Our family home, a former Corrézian farm dating from 1896, is located in the heart of the Milles Sources plateau. Refurbished, for our holidays we want to discover this little corner of France that is still wild. The hamlet of Neuvialle, both very quiet and vibrant because of its inhabitants, is the starting point for a multitude of hikes directly on foot from the house, through the coniferous forests, the heather moors, and the pastures where lambs graze.
