Holiday rentals with a home cinema in Creuse

A very charming cottage and very available hosts! We will try to come back in spring to enjoy the gardens on the edge of the hollow.

Super clean accommodation, well decorated and very nice. Very well-equipped and great bedding! Jean Michel had lit the stove before we arrived, we were at the top. I would recommend it in a second.

The house itself is lovely. Clean, spacious, big bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. The owners have clearly done it to a high spec, and they’ve done it well. The pool is bigger than it looks in the photos, we were delighted with it and used it every day. Jacuzzi was good, we didn’t really use the sauna. The kids loved the cinema room. The area was incredibly peaceful, maybe 10 cars came past the house in a day. For British people, Creuse is similar to Devon. Lots of farms, quiet roads, small villages. This isn’t the place for nightlife, but rest and family time. Very relaxing. Downsides: only two. First, there is no air con in the bedrooms. The air con is only in the home cinema, which isn’t clear from the listing. If you have very warm weather, this can make the nights a bit uncomfortable even with the windows fully open. Second, and this will only be a problem if you have serious mobility issues, there are more steps around the property than we expected. Overall though, excellent!

The apartment was perfect, it met our expectations perfectly. Mary and her spouse are perfect, they make themselves available if needed and are responsive.

Very nice apartment under Amelie's house. Well appointed and decorated. The jacuzzi area is paradisiacal. Amelie is friendly, welcoming and attentive to special requests. A nice break and a nice meeting. I recommend it.
