We use the cabin with friends and family periodically so we have one closet and one room above the garage that are locked for personal items. 6 guests comfortably 2 bedrooms 4 beds-1 Queen, 1 Double, 1 twin, 1 futon & a pull out mattress 2 baths – 1 walk in shower, 1 full bathtub. Minutes from Maverick Mtn Ski Park, Elk Horn Hot Springs, Crystal Park & Beaverhead National Forest in the Pioneer Mountains, off the Scenic Byway. Enjoy bicycling, hiking, sled, snowmobile, fishing, hunting, and all things adventuring. This cabin dates back to the 1940’s, & is located on a 2 acre lot. This cabin does NOT have running water. *The bathroom is located in the main lodge, with an exterior access door from the back porch.*

The cabin takes its name from one of the peaks you'll see right out your window, Alturas 1 (Our 2 BR cabin is named for the next peak to the north... Alturas 2. You will be staying at the foothills of the Pioneer Mountains in the breathtaking Grasshopper Valley ! If you like the outdoors in Montana, this is a great place to be, all four seasons. 3 bedroom 2 bath with a completely finished lower level. The lower level has a Full size bed and twin bunk bed allowing for the possibility of more guests. The master bath has a jetted tub. There is a pellet stove and also Blu-ray.
