Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Culebra

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great set up for multiple people, clean, and well stocked for cooking on site. The host, Catalina, was super responsive and extremely friendly. The location was great for us. The place was really quite with decent privacy. Being next to the airport there were a few planes a day but nothing at night that kept us up. The home is right next door to a cafe that was a great deal compared to many of the other restaurant prices on the island. the cafe was only open from 6AM to 1:30 PM Mon-Friday. There's a small grocery store a street away that was well priced for the island and super convenient to pick up essentials.

We loved staying at Sandy's. Maria, the property manager met us at the airport and showed us around. That was lovely and comforting. We felt safe and enjoyed the outside patio. One thing that cannot be controlled is the noise of the pesky roosters--and they are everywhere. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Sandy's is very convenient to downtown and has a nice view of the harbor.

There are very few affordable two bed/two bath houses for rent on Culebra. While this house is small, it works well for two couples because each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom. The rental house is the entire upstairs portion of the building. The owner, Jaime, lives downstairs. And the manager, DiDi, lives in an apartment that is also downstairs of the rental. The parking space is at an elevation nearer to the downstairs elevation. There is a set of steps from the parking spot to the rental. We found the beach chairs and the coolers provided to be quite useful. However, the assorted snorkeling gear was not in good enough condition to be useful to us. The kitchen appliances and utensils were in excellent condition. The furniture and beds were comfortable and in good condition. The morning view of the sunrise was most excellent. The showers were hot and very much appreciated. During the ten days that our group was at the house we did not experience any electrical outage.

Miguel was an awesome host. Super fast response, answered my questions quickly. Space was great. Good location, by golf cart 5 minutes to ferry and center of town. About 10 minutes to playa flamenco. Kitchen had all supplies we needed. Hot water and water pressure were great. Lots of beach stuff as well. Didn’t use the bbq and patio but another great option. No issues with neighbors or neighborhood. Anyone complaining about noise it wasn’t an issue for us.

We loved our stay here! Super comfortable and cool, and a very quick drive to get to town or to the beach. Culebra was AMAZING. Our hosts offered great tips and would always wave or say hello when they saw us. We just happened to come on the two mornings when the coffee shop is closed, and I can't wait to come back and check out their adorable shop when it is in full swing. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings and peeping over the trees at the harbor.

Villa Miraflores was exactly what we needed; a beautiful, relaxing getaway with lots to do, see, and eat nearby. First, it had everything you would expect from an excellent Airbnb; the amazing view you see in the pictures, comfortable bed with soft, clean sheets, plenty of warm water in the shower, laundry machines, and all of the necessities for cooking. But this place went above and beyond; Beach gear, double filtered drinking water, an excellent online guidebook, laundry detergent, bed side tables with charging stations, and several options for sitting on the porch including a hammock. We rented a golf cart and we're able to find kits of food options within a 5-7 minute drive. The beaches are just incredible! I recommend watching the sunrise from the porch and listening to the chorus of roosters crowing rather than trying to sleep through it, but my husband and son slept through it just fine. Sara was very responsive, helpful, and friendly.

This is a perfect beach house for a multi family or multi generation vacation! The house has a rustic vibe with lots of outdoor space. Full laundry and kitchen - we were able to make a birthday cake! There are 4 showers but no tubs, and it’s tricky to get some of them to be hot. There were also 3 beach chairs, snorkels and fins, some life jackets, and separate pool towels, which made our trip extra amazing since Melones, a 5 min walk, is a great snorkeling spot! Adults could walk to town, with the small children we called taxi vans. Enrique was helpful and responsive, thanks!

Jorge's Casa Aqqua was lovely, clean, new, organized, with beautiful decor. It is at walking distance from airport (5 minutes) and even from Ferry terminal if you dont mind a good 15 to 20 minutes walk. It is close to Nina's restaurant and just around 2 minutes walk to Carlos Jeep Rental company as described. Also a short 8 minutes drive to Flamenco beach. The neighborhood is quiet but not as pretty as Casa Aqqua. We will definetively consider it again for a future stay. Thanks Jorge and staff for keeping your place perfect for visitors to enjoy beautiful Culebra.

Tres Bahias is a very special place-quiet, cozy, away from the hum of Culebra, but close to amenities of the island. Mariel and Enrique responded quickly to all our questions, both leading up to and during our stay. The villa is slightly rustic (basic) but was exactly what we wanted and expected. The views are too spectacular to put into words. We strongly recommend Tres Bahias for nature lovers who crave peace and quiet.

We spent 4 nights here in February and had a fantastic experience. The apartment was absolutely spotless, and the whole place is maintained with obvious care and pride. The location is quiet and peaceful, with a lovely waterfront view and a dock. Everything is freshly and colorfully painted. The staff are extremely friendly: they helped us find breakfast, they lent us beach towels, and they helped us find a golf cart to rent. There is a kitchen in the apartment, but there is also a shared outdoor kitchen, where we grilled dinner one evening, and met another guest who shared some of his food (pasteles - a Puerto Rican treat). To be clear, this is a hostel, not a hotel: you need to supply your own toiletries, you will be woken up by roosters in the morning, the shower water is not very hot, and you may encounter some mosquitos. But if you want a friendly, super-clean establishment with nice neighbors and good value, this is a great option. We loved this place and hope to come back.

Definitely one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we've stayed in! The location and view are gorgeous! Very quiet, great place to relax. Also, very well equipped in terms of kitchen appliances and utensils. Please note, you'll need a 4x4 vehicle to get there. The road isn't too bad but a regular car would struggle.

Casa Coral was as beautiful as advertised inside and out! Just a few miles from Playa Flamenco and Playa Tamarindo also, which is super convenient. As a family who usually stays beachfront, we found that the "in town" feeling of Casa Coral was really enjoyable and that the grounds and set up really provided our own personal and private oasis. My daughter and I are snorkelers and Regina had us set with with snorkeling gear and kayaks as well which was so thoughtful. We're already planning a trip back!

We had an amazing stay at Elia's place. It was such a joy to wake up and look out over the bay from the balcony every morning. You could tell that a lot of thought was put into providing amenaties; everything that you could need was provided. The beds were comfortable and the AC was nice and chilly. Overall, a very pleasant spot to stay on a wonderful little island. 10/10

Great spot to stay on culebra. Tv was broken but other than that it was perfect. It is up a significant hill but definitely still walkable to all the major parts of the island if your not going to be renting a car or golf cart.

Exactly as described—even better! The view was wonderful and photos couldn’t do it justice. The space had everything we needed, was clean, and very functional. Check-in was seamless with clear instructions, and the location was perfect . We enjoyed morning coffee overlooking the bay and ocean before heading to the beaches. The stars are highly visible at night . Quiet and peaceful.

We loved the condo. The area was quiet and the grounds were all neat and tidy. I liked being away from the noise of town. I loved spending the morning on the deck overlooking the ocean. The condo was clean and nice. I slept well in the bed. We took a taxi to the condo when we arrived for $40 for two people. We caught a ride to town with a friendly local the next morning and rented a jeep for $125/day. I felt the price of the condo was very fair for comparable places around Puerto Rico. There was a security guard at the gate when we arrived that gave directions. The property was very safe and felt secluded and private. We wanted to go to the pool, but never made it after a long day at the beaches, but it looked nice. I didn’t see many people there, so I thought a private swim sounded fun. Overall, I would stay again and felt very comfortable. It was a great 2 night get away to Culebra. Thanks!

A Jewel in Culebra. Close to the best restaurants in Cullebra, 10min walking. Very clean cozy place with all the amenities, kitchen, utilities, stove, fridge, etc...The truth is that we love the place but more than all the attention that Miguel offered us was unique. It was always very attentive. Thank you Miguel we will see you soon very kind of you. I highly recommend them 100% and more.

We have the best impression about Andre and its place. We love the pool and the peaceful area. Everything was clean and quiet. I loved the privacy and tranquility of the place. Also, the view from the apartment was gorgeous. I strongly recommend Costa Bonita. I rented a Jeep and visited 4 beaches in Culebra and every time that I returned to the apartment, I had relaxing time to see my son enjoying the peaceful and beautiful pools. It was easy to park the Jeep next to the apartment and everything was close.

Great place in a beautiful location.

My friend and I visited Culebra right after Christmas and our host William was like a jolly Santa Claus ready to welcome us to this magical island. He was such a gracious and generous host. He had great recommendations for where we should swim, snorkel, eat, etc and kindly offered to drive us during our short visit. He greeted us when we arrived and picked us up the ferry and oriented us to the space well. The room has two double beds (futon sofa folds out and is comfortable though firm). I highly recommend this place and William's hospitality and kindness is unmatched.
