Holiday rentals with breakfast in Current River

We absolutely loved the decorations and the 70's vibe. We loved the layout of the house and felt right at home. We already want to stay for a longer trip next time!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway.

Oh gosh what I wouldn't give to live at Norfork Nest permanently!!! One can dream can't they :) The pictures are totally accurate thought they don't do the view justice. The home was very neat and clean, felt so welcoming. I was given a code to the door and never had a single issue, everything worked as expected. It was a weekend getaway for my husband and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was PERFECT. I hope to go back sometime in the future.

We had a wonderful time! One of the top disc golf courses was nearby & kept the guys busy so the ladies could sit back and relax on the front porch. We had the pleasure of meeting Victor, who was very personable & helpful. We will definitely be back in the future!

Gay Ann was a wonderful hostess who went out of her way to make our stay extra special. When we arrived there was a nice welcome note, a fresh pineapple, and a bag with 2 blueberry muffins waiting for us. She came over to say hello shortly after we arrived and brought us fresh from the oven chocolate chip cookies! The camper is every bit as cute as promised. It was stocked with everything we needed, and then some! We would definitely recommend the Dragonfly for a relaxing getaway!

From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by nothing but the beauty of nature and the calming sounds of the river nearby. The fire pit area was one of our favorite spots — cozy, inviting, and the perfect place to unwind under the stars. It honestly felt like stepping into a real-life Hallmark movie. The cabin itself was immaculately clean and beautifully maintained, making it so easy to settle in and feel right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it’s clear Marlene and Trent take incredible pride in creating such a warm, welcoming space. They were absolutely wonderful hosts — so kind, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. If you’re needing a quiet, serene getaway where the only thing on your schedule is breathing deeper and enjoying the simple things, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back! We had such a wonderful time! Beverly and her husband Kevin accommodated us last minute when our plans fell through and I am so happy that we ended up there at The Bonny House! The place was beautiful, breakfast was great, and they made us feel like part of their family! We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

We stayed here during a hunting trip and bsolutely loved this place. Jerreds house and property were stunning. He checked in with us often to see if there was anything we needed which was nice. The big living room and full basements made for a very comfortable stay. I can’t wait to stay here again.

There were only two of us for this trip, but the home could accommodate a much larger group so the price point is exceptional. Our host was extra accommodating in allowing a late checkout, and additionally letting us know that it was available early for checkin. I was surprised to find that there were no televisions in the house, but it wasn’t an issue for us. Great place!

If you are looking for a place to stay that is spotlessly clean, safe, and beautiful, you need to look into this guesthouse. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Even though I felt I was in a remote area and traveling alone with 2 sweet dogs, I felt very safe and enjoyed the beauty of the property. There is a fenced in area off the back porch that was very safe for my fur babies even my smaller doggie. The house is squeaky clean, the bed was so comfortable, and all appliances were in perfect working condition. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need like dishes, cups, utensils, pots, and pans. Plus a coffee maker. They even have a few snacks and fresh baked cookies. Washer and dryer provided with detergents and fabric softener. I was visiting for my son’s graduation at Fort Leonard Wood and he complimented the accommodations. I really didn’t want to leave. I love the location and its lovely surroundings. If I am ever in this area again, I will definitely stay here.
