Holiday rentals with beach access in Dane County

Absolutely top notch space. We all loved this place and the amenities/ special touches are out of this world. Beautifully decorated and it was truly like home away from home.

Alexander's flat in Madison was perfect for our stay. Right downtown, a stone's throw from the capital, and about a mile from the heart of the UW campus, this home was fantastic with a beautiful view of Lake Mendota. The best part of the experience was how easy it was to work with Alexander. He was very responsive to every question, he was proactive about giving us information needed for an easy and comfortable stay, and he was extremely thorough in the information needed about checking in and out of the apartment. Debbie was a lovely host! Her home was perfect for our family for a quick college visit. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location in a quiet neighborhood but close to everything we wanted to do. She was wonderfully accommodating and helpful.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this cozy, historic house. The place was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked with snacks. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and full of amenities within walking distance, making it a pleasure to explore. From the communication leading up to our stay to the smooth checkout process, everything about this experience was fantastic. I give it my highest recommendation!

Alex was incredibly flexible with our group’s varied check-ins and check-outs. Other members of my group met him and his partner and expressed that they were both very friendly and welcoming! It is an older building so the floors squeak a bit, but I have no complaints. We enjoyed Madison and this place was perfect for our stay. The sunroom overlooking the lake was unbelievable!

We had a wonderful family visit to see my daughter at University of Wisconsin. Adam’s place was perfect especially for my 82-year-old mother as the main bedroom is on the first floor. It comes with a private bath as well, which is great. The kitchen was beautiful and the views of the lake are just endless. We would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic home and responsive hosts. The home is well arranged for a large group or family, with places for everyone to eat or gather together plus spaces where individuals or small groups can have privacy. It’s well-set up for intergenerational groups because the kids can have their own space for games and play while there are still quiet spaces for adults to talk. Even with the younger generation playing games and laughing at night the bedrooms are far enough away that the older folks got their sleep! Very well stocked kitchen with all the supplies to actually COOK. I have never been in a rental house with a high grade stand mixer before! The great room is beautiful and the underfloor heating in that space makes it much more comfortable in the winter. Definitely would love to come back.

We enjoyed our stay and the place was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The outside was beautiful and the lake steps from the back door.

We rented Megan's home for a weekend in mid-December for a family holiday. Prior to booking, I exchanged some messages with Megan to let her know our requested plans and she was very responsive and accommodating. Her home is large and the rooms were spacious and great for a family gathering / socializing. The bedrooms had plenty of room, and the bathrooms were large and well-appointed. The kitchen was beautiful, with a very large island which suited our group very well. Best of all, she had the house decorated for the holidays so it felt very inviting and festive. This house has perfect space to gather and hang out, with plenty of room so you don't feel on top of each other.

Was in town for the wedding of a graduate school buddy, and Aleen's BNB was a perfect spot from which to relive the old days and good times. Extremely cozy, with beautiful views of Lake Mendota and easy access to nearby favorites including The Bou. Highly recommend.

Great vintage vibe with lots of cozy comforts! The MCM theme is fantastic, including magazines, books (Nancy Drew!), and games. The location near the lake is lovely, with great recommendations for where to eat and what to do in Madison. The kitchen had a thoughtful selection of supplies (not just coffee and tea, but also cooking oil and spices). We enjoyed the convenience of the adaptable bedside phone chargers, the super comfortable beds, and the fragrance-free products (great for those with scent sensitivities). All in all, a terrific place to stay—thanks so much!
