“Lovely gardens and a gorgeous wee cottage. It was a perfect wee spot to spend our first night as a married couple. We were able to have a early check in to drop our bags off and getting back late at night also wasn’t a problem. Thank you so much, will be back again x”
A small farm set on the top of a hill with stunning 360 degree mountain views. Great for travellers, skiers, adventurers and couples just wanting to get away from it all.
“Ann and Malcolm are the absolute best. You simply must book this place. An amazing retreat property. Watch glorious sunsets, frolick with the animals in green pastures, forage for nature's bounty, soak up the fresh air and sunshine, all while staying with friendly, laid back hosts with a great sense of humor. Close to many great spots near Arthur's pass. Thank you for giving us the retreat of a lifetime.”
Located 45 mins from Beautiful Central Christchurch and 25 mins west of our International Airport. Only 4km off the great Alpine Highway 73 . This peaceful country setting offers stunning panoramic views towards the Southern Alps and is an on route stopover, whether you are heading to the West Coast via Arthurs Pass or the inland Scenic Route South to Tekapo and Central Otago.
“The perfect place! Gareon, a very hospitable hostess, keeps the house clean. We arrived very late and did not have time to meet and talk. But her notes on how and where to go, what to eat and where to get, were very nice. For breakfast, eggs, as we understand, the hostess holds chickens. Muesli milk toasts jam. For such money, this miracle is simple! Warm, comfortable, comfortable if you go to Tekapo. We arrived late at Christchurch and spent the night in this house with delight. Immensely grateful to the hostess.”
