Townhome holiday rentals in Decentralized Administration of Crete

The place was as described. It was the bottom of a two-story house. Parking is right at the house and access to the apartment is down a flight of stairs. The place was nice, quiet, just like we imagined it. There are several taverns in the place, of which we were only able to try two and were satisfied in both. We were very pleased with the local bakery with great pastries. By car it is approximately 25 minutes to Elafonisi beach and 30 minutes towards Balos.

Was a spiritual experience to stay in this peaceful small town, quiet and beautiful, nice morning Jogging route, beautiful sunlight and cute cat neighbours, everything there just purified me away from big cities and heavy life, thanks, hope we all getting well.

The little village of Plouti is an amazing and unique location. I wish we could have stayed longer. There was a plumbing issue during our stay, but Aris was responsive and did what he could to get it sorted out. There is the added bonus for cat lovers, many friendly cats can be found in the neighborhood.

Thank you for being so helpful and friendly these 3 months! Time really flies. :-) We have enjoyed staying here and created a lot of memories. :-) We would love to come back. Thank you!

Our stay at Alexandra’s was clean and comfortable. She made us some delightful food and the frig. had water and food items upon arrival. So appreciated! We enjoyed walking about 15-20min to old town, and on our way getting coffee at Steam Project. The Archaeological museum is wonderful & a 20min. walk, and the harbor is close by as well. We had some amazing food in Old Town at Artinodas.

My mother and I stayed at the stone house for 4 nights and it was a wonderful stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. A rental car is a must at the location is 30 minutes south of Heracleion and there's no mode of public transport there. We enjoyed our time here very much.

Maria is amazing and very helpful🫶🏻 We received a lot of local recommendations, during all our staying Maria was helping us with local questions. She met us very warm☀️ When we arrived we found a lot of drinks for us and our children in the fridge and fruits, the bootle of real greek olive oil also was prepared - it’s so cuuuute ☺️ villa was prepared with all needed staff including the crib for the baby and things for the shower, a lot of towels is a big plus. Villa is absolutely new and comfortable, we were staying here with our friends, in total 4 adults, 3 children and 2 infants. Big terrace with the view to the Olive Garden and also you could see the sea (not a big sea view), big parking area with fruit trees, and one more terrace in front of the house and also a small terrace for one room! Air conditioning in each room is very comfortable! I highly recommend you this villa for your amazing vacations! Thank you so much, Maria and Nektarios, for our staying, we will be back ☀️☀️☀️

We stayed in this beautiful house for the 2nd time and it was a very successful stay again. We really had enough space for 8 and were able to enjoy the huge outdoor area. This time there was even the tip that you can order food at the local tavern under Naso's name, also wonderful. You definitely need a car, otherwise the surroundings are difficult to access. The sea is rather far, but with Neapoli a cute little town nearby.

These are small but beautiful villas that have a spectacular view! The driveway is steep and there are many stairs inside the villa itself as all of them are perched high on the hill above Elounda. Groceries and food can be easily delivered. A car or motorcycle is preferred, but taxis know the property well. Perfect for a family!! Elounda and Angio Nicholas are minutes away. Hotel Spa is a short drive or walk just below the Villas.

We rented the whole house (we were 17 members of our family). As only normal, some things didn’t work, but the hostess with her family immediately solved them flawlessly. The house is supper comfortable (4 kitchens!!!), and well compartlized so privacy was kept for who needed it. All restaurants recommend where great (even though it’s hard to eat bad in Crete 🤪) We used for 3 nights a private chef recommended by Chryssavgi (Spyridon Spilos) who was outstanding also (they bring all ingredients, cook, put the table and most importantly, they clean everything afterwards!!!). The pool was also big and super refreshing (and very well kept). In summary, if we come back to Crete, we will be using this house again. Superb overall experience!!!

The space was much bigger than what we needed, but it was in a great location, and clearly one of the best places you can rent in Old Town Rethymno. The house was very painstakingly restored. The lower level bedroom, kitchen and bathroom worked very well for us. The upper two bedrooms and bathroom are spacious and full of light. The outdoor area with the pool, large dining table, and pool side sitting made for a great place to relax and enjoy the mornings and evenings, when the temperature and humidity are more manageable. We had just landed from a long flight and we were pleasantly surprised to find the fridge stocked with local cheeses, ham, milk, yogurt, butter, eggs, olives, orange juice, chocolate, water bottles and even beers! The kitchen had all the utensils, and necessary cooking supplies! The food lasted us the whole stay, really nice! Everything was clearly labeled, and we didn’t have to buy anything. The house really felt like home, in a word: “wow”! Thanks Angeliki!

We had a wonderful week in Villa Paraisos. The apartment offers everything you need, the equipment in the kitchen is great, nothing is missing! It was very clean and we particularly liked that the unit is self-contained and you have absolute privacy. Everything is completely fenced off. It was also sparkling clean. Romeo and another employee were very friendly and provided us with tips. The outdoor area and pool were cleaned every day. The only drawback is that we didn't particularly like the place itself, but the sea with its countless bays and beaches was fantastic and the accommodation as well. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the accommodation!

Beautifully designed home in the perfect location. The apartment is located just on the edge of the old town. Close to everything but private and quiet. Easy access and there is a parking garage nearby if you don’t want to deal with street parking. The central square is about a ten minute walk. The apartment itself is stunning. Clearly Nikos put in significant effort into design - it is simultaneously elegant and comfortable. And it is flawlessly cleaned and maintained. Patio on the second level was a real treat. Entire experience was exactly as you hope - communication, directions, check in, and local recommendations were all super easy. Thankful to have met Nikos and to have stayed at his place. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Angelos' apartment. It was easy to find, clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace (and playing with the kittens). Cafés, supermarket, and fuel station were very close, which was great. Thanks for the wonderful stay, Angelos!

Hospitality can be learned from Stefan, I have never encountered the possibility of staying in the apartment for a long time for free, everything was organized so that guests feel comfortable until the end of the trip, well-equipped home ,nothing was missing ,fully equipped kitchen, great guide created by Stefan, Attention to detail for the comfort of the guest ,Very comfortable beds,beautiful linens.... Beautifully located house with sea views from every terrace, Excellent communication, We didn't miss anything, and it was a pity to leave this wonderful place, and we'll miss this place wanting to come back. Thank you Stefan for creating this wonderful place and the opportunity to check out the evening.

Exceptional stay! First time we've felt as good in a vacation rental as we do in our own home! We spent the month of April at Maria's Villa in Malaxa. Our goal was remote working from a beautiful location, that we could also make road trips on the weekends and drive into Chania some evenings for dinner. All of this worked out perfectly. The Internet connection was speedy, The house itself is a beautifully built and appointed traditional stone house. There are 3 balconies that allow you to choose sun or shade at any hour of the day. Maria was responsive to any needs or questions. Her parents are like my own greek Grandparents, showering us with homemade foods and useful info.

The house is wonderfully located: all shops and the beach are within walking distance and yet the street is quiet. The stone house-style facade (the front door is reminiscent of Elbe architecture ;-) is inviting and cozy, and so the design continues inside. The kitchen is well equipped. With three bedrooms and roof terrace, the house was more than enough to accommodate our family. We were greeted and said goodbye with local delicacies and felt very, very comfortable.

We visited this beautiful townhouse on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. We couldn’t have chosen a better place. As we were a group of 5 adults, the three separate bedrooms with each its own bathroom perfectly suited our needs. The rooms are spacious and equipped with fans and AC, the bathrooms modern and clean. The terraces provided a perfect space for an early coffee or a late night wine. The house is very well kept. Our compliments to caretaker Guylaine, who met us when we arrived at the house. There is a small supermarket within 100m. The nearby square is easy to grab a taxi. The center of town is just a couple of minutes by foot, as is the old harbor. It’s a treat to wander through the streets surrounding the house with all of these old-style, newly renovated houses and small restaurants. The communication with Allan and Helen was perfect from the start, polite, quick to answer. In short, we loved it! We highly recommend Allan and Helen and their beautiful townhouse.
