Farmstay holiday rentals in Delta County

Danica’s place is so special and we had a lovely stay! We came in a bit later than planned and she was gracious and flexible to meet us at the gate and introduce us to her sweet dog. All the critters are so friendly and we felt right at home in this cozy and unique space. Her roommate was also very kind and chatted with us about local restaurants and our plans for our trip. Fresh eggs in the morning were the cherry on top!

This was our third extended visit to Cedaredge and the first stay at Jan's property. We stayed for three weeks and enjoyed it immensely. The house was nicely furnished and the kitchen had all we needed to make meals. Beds were comfortable and the patio and porch were great for relaxing and enjoying the views. The short drive to "downtown" Cedaredge was very convenient. We really liked the quiet and beautiful views the West Elk mountains and surrounding countryside. Jan and Don were very gracious and friendly hosts. It was refreshing to have hosts on the same property as she was always available to visit with suggestions for restaurants and other things to do. I hope we can come back in the future.

Very clean and comfortable. Felt right at home the moment I walked in. Hosts were very informative and communicated very well. Plus I got to enjoy a moment with their amazing pup who greeted me. Would not hesitate to stay again.

We planned a super last minute trip to Palisade and John and Beth were so accommodating. We had the best time! The location was perfect. It was walkable to restaurants and downtown and very close and convenient to many wineries. The chickens were adorable and a fun addition.

Our group enjoyed staying here. Though some of the pictures showed an electric stove, one was not present in the kitchenette. They found a good accommodation for us and were responsive and attentive to our needs so brownie points for that. The property is very nice and has some fun things to see, definitely worth exploring. I did get a weird vibe there at night, but maybe that’s because I watch too many scary movies. They do have a propane fire pit but it was apparently broken. If that got fixed, I’d say the value would be worth the price to stay there. Besides the missing electric stove, my only other big complaint was that there were a bunch of buckets of dirt and plants in the living room which I wasn’t expecting. Also the water smelled kind of weird, but that’s to be expected with some wells. I don’t think I would necessarily stay again, but I would recommend others to stay there.

Kim was a fantastic host. Her property was amazing. Exactly what we needed and what we were looking for. Lots of great space and peaceful and quiet. Loved having the donkeys around and having them talk to us once in a while. Kim checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable. The property was very serene with deer relaxing in the sun. Would absolutely stay there again. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay-perfect and just what we were looking for. Exactly what you would expect from a backcountry cabin and more especially this time of year (mid June at 9100 feet) Note: It is remote, need 4WD with clearance and decent tires at least when wet/muddy. It was cold so we needed to run wood stove and fireplace for heat. Had hot water, and refrigerator/freezer! VERY well equipped kitchen and bath-so much better than most airbnb's. It was below freezing overnight-glad we brought sleeping bags. Lots of trails to explore with 4WD and walking on the ranch and extended into national forest. Ponds with a rowboat. Fishing. Comfortable beds, and furniture. Private. 360 degree views. About 45 min from town. If you are looking for this-it is great! Stephen, host was very friendly and helpful. Much more of an adventure than most airbnb's.

We loved our visit at Boyd’s place. He was there to show us around when we arrived which made access to everything so simple. The yurt has everything you need. It even had extra pillows and an electric blanket! The surrounding farm was a nice change of scenery and gave us plenty of room for our dog to run around. The fenced in yard was nice too. We didn’t use it because it was a little windy but there is also a small fire pit in the yard. We would definitely stay again.

a private, quiet, comfortable, warm place on a beautiful snowy day with a spacious kitchen with enough equipment to cook. The days went by so quickly, I was delighted. I would return without thinking about it for longer. Jason was always on the lookout when I sent him a message to have information about any question. He answered very quickly.

We had another wonderful stay at Carrie's beautiful and relaxing cottage in the mountains. The cottage was immaculate and we felt right at home. It is so comfortable, quiet, and private, and the central heating works well for wintry, snowy weather. Very cozy! And we sleep so soundly in the big comfortable bed upstairs. Loved seeing the horses and the mountain views and getting friendly visits from their two beautiful dogs, Chiara and Hadley. Still my favorite Airbnb location of all time! Thanks Carrie and Mark!

The cabin is in a beautiful location. It was clean, well stocked with amenities, and the bed was comfortable. Looking forward to returning.

Tim’s Fort Austin was truly unique and quite a nice place to stay near Paonia without having to be downtown. Lots of room to relax around the property in cabin or shared spaces. Extremely welcoming host and guests.

Quaint, quirky, and cozy home in a bucolic setting. The goats and outdoor cats added a very fun element for our animal loving teenaged daughter. Palisade property was a great home base for a day of skiing. The short drive into town made it easy to enjoy a post-mountain meal at Fidel’s. The hot tub and fireplace are terrific amenities.

Wonderful place to stay! The house was clean, well-equipped, with fast internet, and surrounded by beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. We loved watching the quirky alpacas on the farm and stargazing at night. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of normal life. Jeremy was a fantastic host—very responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

I highly recommend Kim’s place if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Paonia! It was the perfect place for me and my cousins while in the area for a family reunion. Kim was very communicative and helpful before and throughout our stay. The surroundings were beautiful and her place was very comfortable. The casita was stocked with great coffee and tea, tasty snacks and wine, and the breakfasts she provided each morning were delicious. Dogs, chickens and horse were also super-hosts and added to the experience. Would certainly stay here again if we’re ever back in the area!

Staying here was a wonderful experience and the host was extremely responsive and accommodating.

If I could give Ellen 10 stars I would. The airbnb was fantastic, clean, and well stocked. Ellen was always responsive and even let us come hang out with the farm animals! I hope we get the chance to come back and stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We walked the orchard several times and on the last morning we saw deer in the orchard too. We made breakfasts there and enjoyed town for other meals. The train runs pretty close to the house and ran multiple times day and night, so fun for train fans. The high school marching band was practicing and that was fun too. It was great to experience living in the area like our grandmother and family did.

This is a gem of a spot! Wonderful amenities and great communication from Curtis. It was a lovely, peaceful stay.

We came here in October with our dogs for three days. The landscape was absolutely gorgeous, the house was big and comfortable with tons of kitchen and bathroom space and multie living area. Hosts were very friendly and proactive in making sure the space was good for us even th9ugh we had no complaints. It wascloswto Paonia and Big Bs orchard and bar. No light pollution meant we could see the stars and the Northern lights! Just be careful driving up and down the Mesa at night there are no street lights. Wifi was great and tv had all the streaming services. A comfortable getaway but still connected.

Eric is an extremely good host and the views from the property are absolutely amazing!
