The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is the possibility of hunting and fishing. Right outside the door, there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. It is a short distance to the alpine resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities both in summer and winter.

In summer: hiking in the forests and fields, hunting and fishing and Sorknes Golf. Swimming at Rena camping (Centre) or in beautiful Osensjøen 40 min away. Leisure residence is located in a established and pleasant cottage area of Furutangen, Nordre Osen, about 35 minutes west of Trysil. Great cross country trails in the immediate vicinity, where you slide into the porch in winter with the skis on your legs, from 50 km of trails. Super hiking conditions fall and summer! Furutangen ski center has 2 ski lifts and 5 slopes- open on weekends. There is also a children's hill for the youngest.

Cottage Lillehammer/Sjusjøen - near mountains and water

Cozy decorated and well equipped with good beds, kitchen, bathroom and shower. To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 min. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own.
