House twixt mountains and sea.

Enjoy a lovely holiday with the whole family at this recently fully refurbished and spacious house that is close to both Snowdonia and gorgeous beaches such as Dinas Dinlle. Two double and four single beds in 4 bedrooms. Up to 2 well behaved dogs allowed downstairs and not on the furniture. Wood-burner in living room. Kitchen diner with tri-fold doors opening onto an enclosed patio. Outside lockable shower room, utility and storage. Plenty of private parking and an orchard for a quiet moment.

Penlan is a fantastic cottage, in an idyllic countryside setting, you can even hear the nearby stream rushing by on it's last journey to the sea and the beach at Pontllyfni. The Llyn peninsula lies on your doorstep with enough history culture, a rather impressive golf course and famous beachside pub to keep you coming back again and again. Then you are just a few minutes drive from Caernarfon with its impressive castle, unique local colour and the start of the Welsh Highland Railway.

There's a real sense of wonder when you first arrive at Bodfan Bach; turn off the busy coast road leading to the Llyn Peninsula near Plas Glynllifon (former home of the Barons Newborough) and head down lanes towards the picture-perfect village of Llandwrog and the vast sweep of beach at Dinas Dinlle. Then head down the private track through the trees to arrive at Bodfan Bach and you soon see why the original builders of Bodfan chose this spot to settle almost 400 years ago.
