Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s remote both in location and from modern life. You have space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

Stunning period Farmhouse in rural setting

Dating from 1762, this beautiful stone cottage is full of period features, beamed ceilings and a huge inglenook fireplace. Lovely rural hillside location in a courtyard setting, 2 miles from the main road along a country lane, but only 9 miles from Ruthin. Enjoy the lovely private garden, watch the birds or stargaze at night whilst sharing a bottle of wine in the 'Piggery'. Perfectly placed for all that North Wales has to offer. Great for couples, adventurers, families and dogs. Car essential.

Tyn Y Benrhos is a stunning Welsh stone cottage situated in its own grounds, in Coed Y Brenin forest, near Dolgellau. You have access to the entire property, with enclosed garden for up to 2 dogs and 8 acres of fields, woodlands and a river to explore. Here you are perfectly located for an active holiday whether it be walking, running or cycling. If you just want to relax there is plenty of opportunity to do that too. We do not live on site but live about 20 mins away and are on hand if needed.

Lovely town house with large patio & south facing private garden. Uninterrupted sea views. Outdoor seating area for 6. Maximum of two well behaved dogs welcome. 2 onsite private parking spaces which is a rarity in Barmouth near the harbour. The Town house is fully equipped and modern. Features include Wi-fi , central heating, towels provided, two 50” smart tv’s. A separate lounge and dining area that seats 6 in comfort. Llwyncelyn - Dinas Mawddwy - Machynlleth.

Llwyncelyn is a delightful traditional slate cottage nestling on the side of the Dyfi Valley. It is situated above the village of Dinas Mawddwy, easily accessed off the A470 and offers stunning views across and along the Dyfi Valley both from the cottage and the enclosed garden. It provides the perfect base from which to discover Southern Snowdonia, in all its glorious seasons. Not equiped for chidren. We generally accept dogs(maximum 2) but reserve the right to occasionally say no!

Cosy townhouse with private parking and log burner

This 1890's townhouse provides a brilliant base to explore Dolgellau and Snowdonia. The location allows for easy walking into the town centre and comes with private parking right at the front door. Relax in the living room with the power reclining sofa, enjoying the log burner and TV. The house has been renovated to include a fully equipped kitchen and a rainfall shower. The townhouse also has a small rear enclosed courtyard and a large private lockable shed suitable for bikes.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Ty Cwtch is a small cottage for two. Location is ideal for exploring mountains and coastal paths. Dolgellau and surrounding areas are ideally suited to people wanting to take a breather, relax and unwind. However still plenty going on in the area. At Ty Cwtch we have tried to think of most things a couple would need for a holiday in beautiful north wales , at the foot of Cadair Idris

Our place is located on the cliff in Borth, with spectacular views of Cardigan bay. It is a 3 storey Victorian house, of which the top floor will be all yours; maximum 4 guests.
