District Commewijne is the place of historical plantations situated at the right banks of the Suriname river.

Coming from the Wijdenbosch bridge you turn left and at the traffic light you turn right into the Slangenhoutstraat.

Bamboe is a wooden bungalow located in Meerzorg right across the Suriname River just 6 km from Paramaribo. It is situated close to the former coffee plantation Peperpot which is now a nature park famous for its birds and flora. The price is 55 € based on two persons. The third en de fourth pay 15 € per person.
