There are two sets on the same set, and there is an option to rent both sets. There is an outhouse on the property. There is freshly washed bed linen that you have to put on the bed yourself. When you leave, take off the bed linen and put it on the floor. You must bring your own towel. The road to the cabin is closed from about November to April/May. Must then go in there on skis in the winter.

Small and cozy decorated cottage in a great location within walking distance to Snow cap Viewpoint. The cabin has a double bed and double sofa bed and possibly extra mattress. The cabin is equipped with a TV, refrigerator and small freezer, hotplates and oven, coffee maker and fully equipped kitchenware. Own outdoor furniture outside the cabin. Short way to the sanitary facilities with their own gentleman and women's department. Washer, dryer etc for rent. The cabin does not have a bath/running water.

Grimsdalen is an idyllic sitting valley between Dovre and Folldal. Here you can relax and find tranquility in great nature, with many opportunities for activities and trips. Our seating house in seatgrenda Tverrlisetra has a good and cozy atmosphere, but with modern amenities to make the stay easier. Here it is self-catering, but with solar panel, gas stove and running water. From Tverrlisetra you can find many hiking destinations in easy hiking terrain just outside the door.

Cozy cabin at Grimsdalen

Great location year-round. The nearest ski lift is 30 minutes away, but cross-country trails pass right by the cabin, giving easy access to winter activities. In summer, enjoy hiking south toward Rondane or north toward Dovrefjell. The cabin is just below the tree line, close to the toll road to Grimsdalsvegen. To prepare the cabin, we send a website in advance with info and options to pre-order bed linen, towels, firewood, EV charging, and more. These are not included.

The cottage is located on a campsite with playground and fire pit with barbecue. The campsite is located between 3 national parks: Jotunheimen, Dovrefjell and the Rondane.

Høvringen has a shop with inn located about 700 m from the cabin. There is a daily bus connection to Otta. The mountain area has established trails both summer and winter, with gateways to Rondane National Park.
